Absolutely amazing! I am awestruck, having never really heard a euphonium before.... all I can say is Wow! Magnificent and very very talented young man!! Congrats!!
One of the best and most musical euphonium players in the last 50 years. Perfect sound. Nick Childs was another perfect player with perfect sound that is almost as good, and Steven Mead probably made the hardest music sound the most easy of any player inb memory. Many great eupho players around, but Mathew White is simply the very top draw.
Maybe l shouldn't have said that because l haven't heard Matt play enough. Nick Childs was a perfect player with little equal, but l think Matt sounds better than Bob Childs (nicer sound and more refined). Bob could play everything (freakish player), but he didn't have that special something like Steven Mead or Nick and probably Matt White. As l said though, Matt is top draw and he's on track give Steve and Nick a run for their money. One of the world's top players and might be in a few years.

When I've seen him before he had a Dennis wick ultra but I don't know if this is the case here
