What was worse is she said "I fell in love for the first time" at 32! After 2 marriages and a long term relationship with her high school boyfriend. That was pretty unbelievable. She's just hyping this thing with Ben up too much. I'm like Jane Fonda. I see a fall if she keeps on being so dependent on him for her happiness and she's too public. Jlo is re-writing history, Ben fell in love with Garner whilst engaged to JLo so there's a definite overlap. Ben jilted Jlo for a reason. He made Garner his first wife and mother of his children three times. Jlo and her ego can't get over the fact that he left her for another woman and married her. This whole film thingy is a dig at Garner and Jlo's exes, they cheat on her for a reason, she's a complete narcissist, where are her friends? I don't see any other women around her, strange. Ben knew the doormat Jlo would take him back because she's so needy. All of Ben's exes were probably sick of his selfish behaviour but Jlo is willing to overlook his addictions, he swaps out one addiction for another. The fact that he is happy and flirty around Jen Garner is very telling.

I've seen videos of them together, and she acts very childish around him, playing with his hand or grabbing to embrace him in a baby voice while he's trying to discuss something important. I guess over the years she was too busy trying to be successful so she didn't really have time to mature. This underscores that pseudo-success does not require maturity. I was thinking the same thing! She did her documentary when she was doing her 50th birthday tour. She said that about ARod. He was always encouraging her and giving her pep talks. He helped her increase her business. I think she forgot this guy was still going to strip clubs when he was engaged to her and then ditched out on a wedding that cost a fortune. It didn’t take him five minutes to pick up with someone else and actually get married. That doesn’t sound like someone who sees your value, respects you or could ever help you see the best things about yourself when he moved on so quickly. It’s beyond hard to live with the fact that you were robbed of having the family with someone you should have had. She can never go back and regain that time. It’s tough being denied something so sacred as having a family with someone you loved so much. He resented that it was her new found fame that was bringing all the spotlight and cameras to their relationship. The more magazines were in pursuit if Jennifer the more resentment I think he felt. Competition is never a good thing when it’s created by outside forces pitting two people, who are supposed to love each other, against each other. No doubt he regretted the way he responded but sometimes the damage is simply done.

When she said “I didn’t think much of myself and so the world didn’t think much of me”. I don’t know if I should have empathy or if I want to shake her for wanting the “entire” world to love her. Many people find JLO cool and inspirational but to be surprised that some don’t can’t be a shock to her - just like there are people she doesn’t like. JLO is the one that wants to be seen and looked up to. It’s in her and has nothing to do with the outside world. The need to seek validation will probably be never ending unless you find peace within.

It could happen, but you can't discount other relationships you've had in between, especially those that brought you children. They had to have meant something and likely you were in love with them. I believe two people can fall in love *again* when they reconnect, but they can fall in love with different people in between at times when they're out of love with you. 🤷🏻♀️

The actor began dating the singer in 2002 after starring in Gigli with her, and the pair later became engaged before splitting up shortly before their scheduled wedding in 2004.
Affleck is adamant he should never have got involved in the first place - because the publicity surrounding their romance tainted his career.
He says, “I was no longer in control of my life. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn’t. I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity.”

He fell in love w/ Garner. That's why he broke up w/ her. Jlo loves media. & hams it up. She's always had a healthy self image & has more talent in so many areas that have made her mega wealthy.
Obviously he loved Jlo more. He said on the Howard Stern Show that he was miserable in his marriage to Garner and if he had stayed in it he would probably be still drinking and she was someone he should not have married. People were upset because he said that but it was his experience and his truth. I think because people like Garner he should have stayed with her but you never know what’s going on in two people private behind the scene. Another thing Garner was 4 months pregnant when he married her. Everyone knew he married her out of obligation and not love. He was not going to have illegitimate child in his life. That would have affected their careers too much if she had been walking around pregnant and not married. Why not just be happy about his marriage to Jlo. They seem to be.

jlo is very insecure and in need/dependant of relationships. you should love yourself and not depent on the compliments and affection of others.

Her entire brand is wrapped up in her love life at the time! Every man is her “true love” and really sees her and helps her to be better than the last man did. Not true. Ben wanted to marry and have babies with J-Lo. He was so in love with her. He showed how much he loved her by going back in 2021 bc he had a lot to apologize for bc he denied and betrayed her.
