This is why I rock with Tobes because he and I are on the same sentence when it comes to Gogi. I love LOVE Goran Dragic. He's my second favorite player after Dwyane Wade. I watched him when he played with Phoenix and remember thinking "man I wish he played for Miami" and then it happened!!! Unfortunate what happened with Bosh's health; we never got to see the full potential of that 2016 roster, but I loved Gogi playing next to Bam and Jimmy. Goran was a bright spot during the MacGruder Tyler Johnson Wayne Ellington Dion Waiters era Heat. I was absolutely shattered when we traded him for Kyle Lowry (even worse when Lowry wore his number). I wish Gogi could've retired in a Heat jersey but I love that he's still a part of the organization in some capacity. We miss you Goran! Miami Heat absolutely need to honor Goran and all his sacrifice and grit and retire his number! It's only right.

What if we paid Wade over Whiteside? Wade was the reason Whiteside had any offense when he left Whiteside went to the shitter.

Biggest "what if" is if Oladipo didn't keep getting re-injured he would've been the perfect piece to get us over the hump especially in 2023 against Denver

Ugh.. That decision hurts. Hell, If we took the Boston deal we would've been better off. We could've had 6 first round picks instead. 😭😭

I don't think it's the biggest "what if," but it's up there. We got robbed of watching Dwayne versus Lebron in the playoffs that year. It's infuriating that we never got to see it.
The biggest "what if" will always be "what if Dwayne never got injured." How many titles would we have won. His prime would've lasted much longer.
I always remind people that make the argument that Jimmy carried us in the bubble playoffs, that Goran was the better player in that run. Jimmy never carried us.

Biggest what if is a two parter
A: what if Michael Beasley stayed off the weedsely and lived up to his draft stock
B: if we drafted Russel Westbrook instead and bloomed him Heat culture

I was so mad when we traded him for Lowry, people were telling me I was crazy, but Goran did a lot for us. Lowry was a bust.
