This is not a paid promotion. I bought this phone two weeks ago and I have been using it since then. I bought this phone for the purpose of using its most advanced camera. Zoom is the main highlight of this phone. I have found so many issues with the camera, wide angle camera clarity is not up to the mark. I am getting a blurred video out from the wide angle camera. We won’t be able to zoom while shooting 4K visuals. Phone is having heating issue while using the camera and the camera get turned off when you use it for couple of minutes. Selfie camera is having a better clarity. Sound capturing is also the best for a smartphone. I have visited the service center after purchasing the phone to update the latest software as well as to share the complaints of the camera.

Mostly phones will get extra hot when screen recording is used. Since you've used camera and screen recording together, there is no surprise it gets over heated.
8:31 Super steady is not a mechanical (optical stabilization) method, it’s an electronic stabilization. Video frame totally edges crop ayi stabilized avunnu. Same like some apps are available in ios and android. If we add a video into it, the stabilized video output will get as edges cropped. If we want more stabilization, more area will be cropped. So a 4K cropped video only have the resolution of 2k or 3k, thats why some quality lows are found.

Samsung is my fav phone
Being a professional photographer, I bought the S21U for it's photo quality & for the ability to customise the device based on how I wanted it to look. It does feel much better compared to the older generation S20U but it has it's downsides too. Like you said, I was also disappointed with certain camera bugs which I hope the company realises sometime soon. I bought one of the first S21U's in Kerala and I remember having a similar talk about it during our Safari drive 😅 I had a bad time with the heating issues as well but as of this month's update, the warnings have come down significantly. Video quality, iPhone is always a step ahead but when it comes to the photo quality & the optical zoom quality - This phone wins!
The 120hz display also makes a big difference as well but rumors has it that the iPhone 13Pro Max will have the Samsung manufactured 120hz adaptive displays.

I have some queries regarding overheat issues
. Pls confirm if the samsung and iphone was kept on full brightness while shooting?
. Pls confirm if you face overheating while you shoot without changing any mode( as you are testing you were zooming 100x switching the mode to 8k, switching camera to front and back these will definitely load the processor and phone will heat up soon, . If not pls compare both by keeping both on same mode same brightness. Lets see if its overheat
.I saw once its overheated it was repeatedly overheating. I want know how much time you cooled the phone before shooting the next.
