- All Pasini’s Cantabili are unique. This one changes the meter at every bar. 3/4 and 4/4. Which makes it pretty challenging to play! I hope you like this odd, but beautiful piece., Let me know!
For the best listening experience, I recommend using headphones, earbuds, or a hi-fi set. The sound dynamics of the pipe organ are truly remarkable and can be fully appreciated with high-quality audio equipment.
Played with the Marcussen organ from Grote or Saint-Laurens Church in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (Hauptwerk)

Indeed, he is very beautiful with interiority.
Thanks Philippe!
Nice melancholic Cantabile with flowing character.
Yes, it is! Thanks!
Good old Pasini, unique but quite recognizable. Thanks!
Thanks! I know his music isn’t the most popular on my channel, but I just love to play it. It calms my nerves.
Beautiful piece by Pasini, very expressive performance.
Thanks! It’s another interesting piece from Pasini. However most of his music is pretty easy to play, they all have some gimmicks or findings that makes them interesting to play!
a very nice sendoff for the end of my day -- thanks !
Thanks! Sleep well!
Wanderful piece. Great performance, indeed
Thanks! ☺️
Very nice ! Beautifuly played Rien !
Thanks Rémi!
As you say, all the Pasini pieces I've heard you play are quite differing in style. Most enjoyable.
Thanks Colin. That’s the fun with playing them! All are different and have some tricks!
I love the tinge of melancholy that haunts this Pasini 'Cantabile': beautiful, Rien - bravo! (Maybe the time signature should be7/4?!)
Thanks Graham! That would be a better choice. The way is notated now is difficult to read because technically every bar begins a new part of the piece. I guess the composer only could count to 4. 😂😂😂
Mooie Pasini Rien. Goed neergezet!
Dank Nils!
Italian orgenmusic and Rien S. is a good combination! :-)
Yep! I’ve been to both France and Italy a lot. Both have their own charm. But in general I feel more at home in Italy…
@@RienSchalkwijk yes that's clear. Nice to see and hear! :-)
