This game came out when I was a kid and I can vividly remember those summers whenever I hear the music. Simpler times, no school, running around the neighborhood with the other kids, drinking from the hose, sand castles, fireflies, swinging, swimming in cold ponds, hot and humid summer nights with frogs chirping. To revisit that feeling, check out the Ghibli movies like My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, Only Yesterday, Porco Rosso, and Whisper of the Heart.

@@raphaelverminwhen did Metallica sue for song copyright? I’ve been a Metallica fan for decades and I don’t recall that ever happening.
If anything, that lawsuit would force more creativity and out of the box composition.

Wonderfully played! Whoever was in charge of composing music for the Mario games was a master! Simplicity met with charm and playfulness.

I've heard it a thousand times but never gave thought to how complex it is.

    •  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's only complex if you play it like this. If you play the instruments separately it's not that difficult :-) by no means super easy though

He's doing the base and melody at the same time (I don't know if theyre called like that), playing two voices at the same time is always pretty difficult

A lot of our favorite classic game music goes harder than we ever thought I personally loved the Zelda ocarina of time and the final fantasy melodies and some of those are way more complex than the games made them sound because we were so focused on playing the game

@@angrysaxman2246 Yep. Koichi Sugiyama made the music for the dragon warrior/quest series and yet he is also a real orchestra composer
I feel privileged to have known his works.
