    I took the dish soap trick to a whole new level. I bought a 1 gallon pump up sprayer filled it with water then put a quarter bottle of dawn in it now when I need a car to slide it's as fast as a quick spray. Works dang perfect 2ew‼️ ya 🤘

    The skates are a slick solution. Just a small correction, that's an Volvo XC70 (not Xc90). I'd love to know what failed but I'm guessing the fuseable link at the battery connection. I saw one this summer, the fuse was good but the plastic cracked and no connection.

    Well things are starting out good. You can maneuver your truck w/o worrying about traffic.
    Your second trip/pickup location has more variety as far as landscapes go. I too prefer the country scenes versus the mind numbing drive along the interstates. The one exception is the drive to my sister's house in Black Mountain NC.
    Glad there is not smell-vision. Since our view is adjacent to the garbage can!😏😏.
    Excellent job on the tight squeeze parking!

    Even though I prefer mountain rescue videos of your's, this made me think of why I like your content: it has a scheme but there is always a difference and variation. It it was all "put the winch on with two snatch blocks and pull" it would get very boring quickly.
    I also like to lean things I never have needed and never probably do. I did not know there were such sliding block to put under the tires. Now I do and that someone makes them seems quite obvious for you line of work. (and the dish soap! I wondered how you'll get the car off but it was just that easy!)

    Casey since you had the mobile repair business, when you get out to calls like this do you attempt to fix any vehicles of its something you've dealt with before or is a common issue with whatever vehicle? Or just hook and book? Do you think this Volvo had a power or ground issue since you said it had zero power when you hooked jump pack up? Just curious your approach since you have so much knowledge and experience in so many different fields with dealing with automotive, or fabricating. The rollback seems to be a great addition to your company and has been getting quite the workout lately. How are you liking it now that you've had it awhile and several uses with it? I'm still waiting on machine shop to get my 5.9 done. I don't know if someone is bs'ing me with it, it's been there several months now. I'm debating on finding another good running chassis and putting my bed on it, because this is getting ridiculous two of my trucks are at two different mechanic shops and both have been there since February for my 05 F450 that has no compression on cylinder 3,waiting on head to come off to find out if it's a valve or piston issue. And my 05 F650 rollback has now been sitting since I think it was March when I took it to the shop it's at. These guys are killing me, it's so hard to find a mechanic around here that starts your job and knocks it right out.

    • @CaseyLaDelle
      @CaseyLaDelle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Oh I definitely fix them if I can. I would much rather fix them than tow them. The Dodge is brand new and when into derate mode for DPF issues, so nothing I could do there. I didn't even look into what the problem was in the Volvo other than hooking my jump pack to it to see if I could release the brake and roll up the windows. The customer was already gone and hours away, so even if it was a simple fix, I would have still had to tow it
