everything you've said here is correct, I would like to add that you CAN use dynamics processing if each dynamics processor has side chain capability. in your case ozone doesn't so you are left with exactly like you have demonstrated here perfectly.
if you are using, for example, a buss comp w side chain and a limiter with side chain ability, then you can:
1 - start with the first dynamics processor. bounce a stereo mix with THAT first processor and every plugin AFTER it disabled.
2 - then enable all plugs including dynamics up until the next dynamics (in this example the final limiter), leave that limiter OFF, then bounce a stereo mix of that.
3 - I usually label those mixes as ie: SC bus comp, SC limiter etc.
4 - make sure ALL plugs are now on
5 - pull those two mixes into your session and line them up and mute them both. enable the side chain functions on your master dynamics and then side chain the bus comp from the sc bus comp mix and the limiter from the sc limiter mix.
    viola!
thanks for the video AND AUTO-BOUNCE!!

well in the case of autobounce, it does not work, because while bouncing, it will disable all the tracks that are not beeing bounced, and so the ghost track will not feed the comp while bouncing... but it works if you do it manually
