Absolutely you can double it! Just make sure you double everything. I am sorry to hear you are having this health issue. I hope this helps distract you as well for that is a big load to deal with. Trust in the lord, he provides peace and comfort to those who truly seek him. I will pray for your healing and I also hope others that see this post will also do the same for you.

I enjoyed this video as it was visually informative and your recipe is very good. In your next video could you please speak up a little bit more and lower the music as sometimes it was hard to hear what you were saying.

I haven't tried lard yet, but tallow makes an excellent bar of soap. Maybe I'll try lard next? I wonder how different it would be?🤔

Hi fellow soapers, good news, you may use your soap after 24 to 48 hours! Especially when you fast cure in the oven at 170

Putting your oven on 170 is not curing it. It forces it to go through the gel phase. You can also do this with a heating pad. Your soap is safe to use typically after 48 hours it has saponified with or without additional heat, but it takes 4-6 weeks depending on your recipe to fully cure. That means all the chemical reactions have stopped and the water in it has evaporated making your soap last longer.
