Well done. So glad you learned a bit more about how things work with finances. Just a note: you did a lot of shopping with Victoria Secret, Nike, etc. You could have saved so much more if you had just chosen to buy one thing instead of so many items. It’s about finding a balance between what we need and what we want. You also could have chosen to return the items that you purchased because you kept all the receipts. This would have allowed you to get more fresh fruits and vegetables, some fish or chicken (if your family eats this) and toilet paper…more of what is really needed. Making the pizza was a fab idea but did you know that you can do the same with those expensive drinks you get at the mall? You did great but never stop learning how to get better.
that mom set that kid up to fail honestly. planning a trip for the family...sorry mom but it's not your money this month,so the trip is out of the question..we can't afford it
I honestly didn’t realise that it was possible for people to be so stupid (I’m talking about the people posting comments about the show, not the lovely family that were on there). You do actually realise that part of the idea of the show is that the parents have to throw a curveball into the mix, usually a couple of weeks into the month? That could be in the form of an unexpected bill, a forgotten subscription that needs to be renewed, or in this case a family holiday. It’s supposed to reflect real life situations where we pretty much all face unexpected expenses from time to time.
