Correction! If you listen carefully...I misheard and misquoted Michael in this regard...he states plainly that he led his anti-cult, anti-mormon ministry...for NINE years...not six years...from age 21-to age 30. Much love, David

David. My Dad told my sister last night to have me watch 17 miracles. Interesting the that movie came out after his passing in 2010 but he has access to it and has seen it on the other side. It is an exceptional movie with exceptional miracles of the early pioneer saints. It is on TH-cam. Love you and all your videos always.

@@MrNashtyone Bless you! I had the most amazing, sacred, spiritual experience that involved that movie a few years ago. The memory of it came back to me this morning. Now here I am reading your comment about your Dad wanting you to see it! Long story short I want led through a series a crazy events, to be in a certain place in time the day after I was impressed to watch that movie. I was behind a very elderly woman at a retail counter who was away from her home in Southern Utah visiting her son. I struck up a conversation, (I am leaving out the sacred part) but come to find out, I was speaking to the Great Granddaughter of the Sister in the movie (true story) who had put her last 2 sea biscuits in the pot and prayed over them. I hope you write your experience down! You have truly had an amazing miracle:)

My heart just weeps with joy for the two of you! It is hard to convince those who have never felt joy of what they are missing. I am sorry, so many people are living without it in such hard times as this. When and where will you be in Utah? I would love to drive down from Idaho to meet you in person if you wouldn't mind. I am a convert from the Baptist church. My family has mocked me ever since. Dave and I got married one day and baptized the next. It has been an amazing transformation in our lives!! Please let me know when you will be in the states.

Appreciate meeting Michael and hearing about your investigative journey so far. And love how the words now in your second reading of the Book of Mormon are being highlighted to you in ways that are changing your life Michael. Keep following the Spirit and the miracles will follow! "My sheep hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one Shepherd!"
Thank you David for your wonderful testimony as always, the Spirit is strong. I believe that the Lord delivered you from Egypt because He had a work for you (Israel) to do. And I believe God Jehovah is calling Israel and bringing them out of Egypt or Babylon, because He has an important work for us all to do. Michael, it sounds to me that the Lord is calling out to you too!
David, thank you for helping to straighten out my understanding of the mercy and grace of our Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Only last night I was in tears at the thought of my family being separated forever for eternity. My husband is not a member of the Church. He is not a believer and I don't know that he ever was though his father I believe was raised Catholic, but no longer practicing, and his mother is Anglican. (Funny, as I learn from your various testimonies about the accusatory fog in mainstream Christianity, I'm reminded of a quip from my mother-in-law one Christmas following a funny experience I was sharing about my religion, to which she quipped, "Well you Mormons have always been trouble makers!" - I just laughed at that but later wondered, do they learn about our history at church?)
You've reminded me that the Plan of Salvation truly is just, and that noone will be withheld from the opportunity to accept or reject Christ and His Gospel, so bless you for that!
I know I was led to click on your video because the Savior is in the details of our lives, and He knew that my experience engaging with some Christians at the supermarket had caused me some inner doubt, and then your video interview with Michael opened with a similar scenario/experience to the one I had.
The Lord is good! You are doing a great work. May the Lord continue to bless you with success, joy and His enduring peace! You and Michael both.

I love this. I love having strong brothers in the church. I live in Idaho. I grew up here, and I also lived in Utah for 15 years. All is not well in Zion unfortunately. It feels like many are forsaking their childhood faith. My wife says I focus too much on the negative or those leaving the church and I get really frustrated. But then I listen to talks like this, and it dramatically increases my faith in fellow saints. The Lord is calling his elect from all over the world. We live in turbulent time. But we know in the end all will be well through Christ. Thank you for speaking out and sharing your testimony. I was born and raised in the church, but I have had my own undeniable witness of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But converts have this very special spirit about them and I really enjoyed listening to the two of you.

Well said! I feel the same as you do! I have been on a MISSION trying to help those around me strengthen their testimonies bc of the amount of people being deceived. “The very elite will be deceived” is happening now. Imagine, these members who left have read that prophecy for years and probably said to themselves “how will people be deceived in the last days” here we are with a majority of us being deceived now more than ever. It’s sad but then I see people like David and Michael and those hundreds of members in Africa who all joined the church together and I rejoice! There are miracles happening! It’s truly wonderful!

@@sarahbean6170, dear sister, I am so happy for you, but never say you can't be torn from it. We are all vulnerable. Satan's tactics and deceptions are only getting stronger and less able to discern. We have to continue to "work out our salvation with fear and trembling" and keep using the atonement to stay sanctified until (and beyond) we will have the guarantee from God that we are sealed to Him. Our dear prophet said we must learn how to have the Holy Spirit as our constant companion in order to survive, so this necessitates making sure we give up all of Babylon so we want to heed Him. It's a daily recommitment to humble ourselves and put the Lord first. Hope to meet you in Zion!

Snapped up a copy from a Little Free Library in my neighborhood not too long ago. Just finished reading it, and i must say i absolutely love the amazing historical nuggets woven into such a simple logical easy to read style. Anyone with even a shred of integrity and regardless of their incorrect assumptions would have to conclude, after reading that book, that yes, Mormons are Christians.

That was precious Michael and David! Michael I could feel your true sincere Repentance with the members of the church and asking all of us for forgiveness for the challenges of things you did in the past to persecute the saints. Thank you for that apology. I have been persecuted several different times throughout my life as a missionary in Chicago long ago as well as a friend who was a born again Christian that was trying to tear me away from this true church and tell me that I was wrong and being in this church and that I was going to hell. All he wanted to do was argue with me and I realized he was a right fighter. So I said, "Ok you know what you're right and I'm wrong, because you said the Salvation prayer you're going to Heaven and because I got baptized by proper priesthood Authority and in the name of Jesus Christ I went down into the Waters of Baptism and then I received the Holy Ghost, therefore I'm going to hell. Well we Mormons make Heaven Out of Hell wherever we go!"
This guy stopped cold in his tracks and he couldn't think of anything to say back to me except for, "Well we're all wrong!" I said to him, "No we are not all wrong, we have great truths in each one of our churches and instead of you trying to fight against me and be my enemy instead of my friend, why don't you and I stand together as a brother and sister in God's family and start fighting against Satan and his legends outside of our churches!" He thought that was a pretty good idea for a while until a couple of weeks later he started up with his wanting to show me books about how Mormon missionaries left our church and went to the Baptist Church. I had had enough and I had to set my boundaries strong and completely cut him out of my life because he was acting like a Korihor from The Book of Mormon stories. It is anti-christian for any of us in any church to fight against each other. I am not your enemy and you are not mine! We Are All God's Children and I am so thankful for the power of repentance and forgiveness in my life and your life and everybody's lives. Thank you Michael for your prayer and your testimony. It was beautiful and you are very humble and so is David! And that's what it takes is humility to eventually completely have faith and trust in Christ, repent of your sins and receive baptism and the power of the Holy Ghost being with you forever after baptism! It is the greatest gift of all upon this Earth and in eternity. Eternal life with Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father is the way to go! I will pray for you on your great journey to come unto Christ even more than you already have in the past. I know this is the True Church of Jesus Christ upon this Earth and I am so grateful to be a part of the Kingdom of God upon the Earth! I want to shout the good news upon the housetops also like David is doing! We are gathering the tribes of Israel into the safety nets of Zion! David is a great gatherer and a great missionary for the Gospel truth and our Savior!

I love how your vision changed when you opened your heart to receive what God wanted you to receive and see. I too have experienced limitations as I lived a life of preconceived notions and relied on my own "wisdom". As a life-long member of the LDS faith, I spent too much time being lukewarm, and I suffered the consequences. Only after desperation and nearly losing everything that was dear to me, I turned to the Savior with all my heart and covenanted with Him that if He would take away my pain, I would follow Him to the end. He provided a miracle and the pain I experienced was removed. I knew I had to stay on that path. As I focused on the Savior the Holy Spirit was with me. The light I felt became continually brighter in my life. I was filled with joy! My life has been blessed with peace and love. Personal revelation is a frequent experience for me, as I feel the Lord teaching me and opening me eyes to eternal truths. This is the way!
Thank you for sharing your testimonies. I hope mine adds to yours. God is love, and I feel it daily as I remain on the covenant path.

As you speak of the love of God and the love of the Saints and the covenant path… the lyrics match perfectly with your message! Keep up the great work-God’s work among the children of men!
    Press Forward, Saints
    1. Press forward, Saints, with steadfast faith in Christ,
With hope’s bright flame alight in heart and mind,
With love of God and love of all mankind.

    Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
    2. Press forward, feasting on the word of Christ.
Receive his name, rejoicing in his might.
Come unto God; find everlasting light.
    [Chorus]
    Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
    3. Press on, enduring in the ways of Christ.
His love proclaim thru days of mortal strife.

Because if you didn't hear it from the horse's mouth, you heard it from the other end!" 😀

So wonderful to share in the joy of the newly converted! Thank you David for following thru with inspiration from our LORD to speak the truth in love and open up a platform and invite others to do so (speak the truth in love & bear testimony). I am working up my nerve and looking for a good time to share my testimony...when I do so, it might include a bit of my lifelong experience as a member of the church & the ups & downs my childhood family went thru (resulting in all my childhood family leaving the church). I was not active for 8 years and when I returned (after 2 failed marriages etc. etc.) I made a commitment & promise to myself to always remember that...the gospel was not about the association or the sociality with the ...as you so rightly state...flawed and imperfect members, dah! The church is like a hospital...we're all SICK, BUT we take turn being doctors, nurses, custodians etc. so we can watch over & care for one another to stay in the boat...STAY ON THE COVENANT PATH!!! As I said, I LOVE sharing in the joy of new converts BUT please continue to make time for your studies because, to be sure...someday, sometime, somehow...you COULD be offended by us so imperfect members. Our foundation has to be personal with the LORD. I'm sure you realize this and it IS so wonderful to have someone recognize the community of "saints" we TRY to be. I am so grateful I made that promise to myself and keep my focus on the truthfulness of the gospel and my PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ. God bless your journey and what a fun, beautiful inspiration you and your "guests" are. PRAISE GOD for the work you're doing & the inspiration you provide for us ALL to RISE UP AND BE BETTER WARRIORS IN HIS SPECIAL FORCES FOR GOOD!

Our prophets (living and in record of scriptures) teach us to move forward with a hope in Christ. He is coming soon and we truly are living in the “latter-days” and it’s cool to hear stories like yours and David’s and Steven’s… To me, your stories testify to part of the earths preparation for Christ’s return. I am really touched by so much about the conversation of David and Michael here, and then also the story presented by Greg Whiteley about the New York Dolls bass guitarist Arthur Kane who followed Christ and served Him as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am still absorbing all of it! I hope that Michael continues to seek Peace in the sure place he will find it, and by following The One who is the Prince of Peace.

Oh, Michael. We are so happy you did this video with David. The Latter Day Saints are such forgiving people. We and others will have our hearts touched by your humility and sincerity. We try not to take things too personally because we know that Satan is working on all of us. Satan can be persuasive. Good people like you and David can be led away or led astray by the persecutors and accusers of the true restored Church and restored doctrine. Even Jesus, himself, faced persecution while setting up His own Church on the Earth. Satan worked hard on religious and non-religious people back then. Probably cuz he knew who Jesus was and was trying to stop His Earthly mission or thwart it. Well, Satan is very aware that his time is running out. He wants to bring down & destroy individuals, families, relationships, communities, and nations. Satan is VERY powerful, but Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are even MORE powerful. The most valiant of God's children have been saved for these Latter Days. You two have been prepared for this time. Your realization. Your stories. Your testimonies will help SO many people. Christ's secret weapons are people like you guys. Do you realize how many people you can wake up that have been part of the deception perception crowd? Or even people that might be part of the clueless crowd? EVERY soul is precious to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Your misery may have a purpose. To stop or save others from going down similar dark or difficult paths. To wake others up. To help save others from dying of spiritual thirst & spiritual hunger. I am a convert. I went to many Churches growing up trying to find what I have with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and nothing coming even close to it.

I loved hearing your stories of finding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope you feel the Savior’s love and know your are cared for by the members where you are. Just please know that members of the church are just as human and faulty as anyone else, but the Gospel is true, correct, and right. Heavenly Father is working with what he has here on earth, so please don’t judge the true Gospel by us very human and faulty people that are trying to be like the Savior but are not perfect. I am so happy for the both of you. I love seeing people happy and finally feeling loved and whole and finally finding what they have been missing. I promise you with all of my heart, that the more you come closer to our Savior and living the correct principles of the Gospel you will continue to find more peace and happiness. The Bible, the Book of Mormon, going to church and learning and helping each other’s testimonies, doing service, loving our neighbors, and going to the temple to help our ancestors all point to the Savior and His love and having a sincere relationship with him. I love how Michael said he is writing down while reading the Book of Mormon how the Spirit is speaking to him.
The Book of Mormon changes me.
It makes me desire to forgive, to repent, to desire being more kind, more patient, slower to anger. It feels me with hope, faith and peace. It helps me see others a little more through Heaven’s eyes. And to desire to help those in need.
It makes me desire to seek Christ and to seek His help in becoming more like Him.

As we come nearer to His second coming, I think much of the future growth of the restored church will take off by the hands of our bold and converted evangelical brothers and sisters. They’re elect and voracious for Christ’s sake, but just blinded by a Pharisaical fog. And they above all should know by the patterns in the Bible that there would be this kind of stumbling block! If we fear not and are humble, we discern righteously.

Michael and David, Thank you for your efforts in self reflection and to try to understand all that truth is. I was fortunate enough to join the church when i was 22. I have been living with the accusations from evangelicals ever since, I am now 59. The words of the Savior to those who crucified him, asking Heavenly father to forgive them for they know not what they do... has been a strength for me over the years. It brings me tremendous joy to be a witness to your journey with the book of Mormon. When Christ came to earth the religious leaders of the day did not expect the Messiah to come as He did. History repeats its self... in preparation for the Second Coming, once again it is happening not as the religious leaders of today expect. Be patient with yourselves and continue to study the scriptures. You will be in my prayers. Your examples are and will continue to touch others who are also just beginning to have the courage to learn about the marvelous work that our Savior Jesus Christ is doing. His work is not finished. Every knee shall bow and confessed that He is the Christ. So stay strong, God bless.
