For reference, a Burgher (burgh = town) is just a citizen - that is, somebody who lives in a city, usually middle class. It's where the word bourgeoisie comes from. Not to be confused with the German word Burgherr (Burg = castle, compare with English burgh, and Herr = lord), which is partially related.
Glad to see the checkerboard formation finally, I'm fairly certain you could/should have won the chokepoint battle with it instead of a firing line. Nice video, good editing and narration.
Fun fact! The AI has a weird obsession with barracks when trading settlement. A settlement that might have been sold for like 1500 gold will instead sell for 5000 if you just spend 1 turn and the 750 gold to build it. Even better if it already has it.
Yeah, it’s a little wild to have a small town go from having a trade value of 12 up to like 110 just from building a barracks, my favorite way to make friends is to just sell them the territory I don’t want.
A tip(cheese?) for chokepoint battles like the one you had against Rakarth, especially for ranged-heavy armies - deploy your army to the side of the chokepoint/bridge instead of on it/in front of it. The AI is programmed to simply go forward on those maps letting you shoot them for a good while if you do that. The AI will eventually turn around and come after your army, but it's gonna take them precious moments during which you'd be shooting them.
cathayan peasant archers supposed to get a billion trillion buffs from cathay but even without literally all of those they're still better than Empire Archers that is how bad Empire Archers are: this challenge would have been easier as Miao Ying
I like to use Dreamwine by slapping it onto a lord right before I attack someone, then taking it right back off so I never have to worry about the trait.
Burgher was an old title for a very minor nobility bordering on just a rich peasant, noted for just having a manor and some minor leadership over a town, always subservient to a higher Lord/lady
And here I thought this campaign had been a fever dream or something… Also, LOL at 1:09-imagine thinking you could get away from DISRESPECTING Rakarth like that
I love how at the end of the video **SPOILERS** ------ When you were doing the montage it was all victories except the battles with gor-rok and those were defeats. honestly Gor-rok is just a mountain in lizard form
Wulfhart's ability does more damage the more health the target is missing. Please don't just use it against a full health monster or lord, it is painful. Also for those who don't know a burgher is, according to the Oxford English Dictionary: "An inhabitant of a burgh, borough, or corporate town; a citizen. Chiefly used of continental towns, but also of English boroughs, in a sense less technical than burgess. Now somewhat archaic. Also figurative." We call hamburgers "hamburgers" because they came from the burg of Hamburg in Germany.
You should do a norsca chariots only. You should confederate with Surtha Ek and get the trait that increases chariot damage for his army by killing Settra.
@4:35 I know your name is BrilliantStupidty, so I'll give you a pass, but they didn't show you where the enemy was moving because they were in ambush stance. It wouldn't be much of an ambush if they showed you where AI moved to. lol

I was thinking where were you this whole time with the new dlc. Hope you recover soon mate.
after the success of those chariots you should try a chariot only campaign
khorne gore beast chariots only
Yeah, Settras earlygame is chariots and its glorious!
This would be fun!!!

My favorite part is watching how Gor-Rok still has 80% of his health after every battle against him
That’s the gorrok experience yeah
"They have too many monsters to fight." - Man with army composed entirely of anti large huntsman archers.
lol now try this challenge again now that skulltaker starts close to you
"Burgher" is literally just a "person who lives in a city" in German
"Burger" is a short of "hamburger" btw, in case everyone forgor
Love your style of video and commenting, my favorite new TW channel
I LOVE how you have just this little pet Tomb King on your side.

Failure is also compared to their Hero Action defense chance, as well as made harder if targeting a higher level character with a hero action.

Always been a Marcus Wulfhart campaign enjoyer, and you handled this really well. Good job.

Even with the added 'getting to Lustria' part adding multiple turns to the start? Hmm.
This made mu day once more, every single time. Congrats bud
The Death by Glamour montage at the end was stellar, love your content
Welcome back. You have yet again learned the joy of fighting Gor-Rok. And by joy, I mean immense pain and suffering.
You cant trick me with rollback. This needs to be redone with skulltaker on your doorstep. There is not enough of pain and suffering here.

If they have archers in the name, they must be archers. Legit
Nice to see Part 3! Enjoyed it a lot!
The video i have been waiting for far too long!❤❤
everytime i saw gor-rok i thought of that meme, "is that the grim reaper?!?!".
Me, a lizardman fanboy watching you try to kill Gor-Rok "hehehehehehehehe"
Wooooo! New video, hopefully you learned how to ambush for this one
good to see you back
One of the best mods is getting rid of the climates, the other is being able to sell/buy/trade settlements because otherwise its impossible
Hope you feel better, but i have been waiting for the finale.
The twins are still right there to play as instead
Get well soon ❤
I am a simple man.
I see BrilliantStupidity, I comment like watch.

10:17 peak comedy
Just one more channel bro, just one more.
Yeees finally!!!
fWhere is the demon only campinn, as you accidentally forgot to censor it during episode 1
I think Archer only would be easy with that one Kislev Witch
She uses crossbows so idk
You should do artillery and zombies only with Vampire Coast. Might not be possible...... 🤔
halberdier only campain next please
Genuinely wondering why you didn’t use the wood elves…
For the algorithm 🎉
stonks
