    Excellent video series with some of the clearest and honest instruction on knife sharpening ever. I have recently bought a Lagom Bush Knife which is an outstanding design and I have a Bushbaby on its way. I really enjoy watching the LT Wright videos as you all tell it how it is. Thanks Scooter and the rest of the team for sharing. All the best from Scotland. Garry

    Very cool! I didn't even realize you could use your knife sheath take it apart like that and use it for a strop. The other thing that I saw that's a very cool handle for your Flint. One side of the handle could potentially be your knife Sharpening stone or the whole handle itself.

    Scooter, you're the man!
    I just went one step further than you, removed that Chicago screw and put a snap on it. Now it's easier to put the knife on and off my belt and to use it as a strop.
    Great video series, thanks!

    Great video! Really helps out. Is it possible to over strop a knife?

    • @zebratruck
      @zebratruck 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not in my experience. But keep in mind, the longer you strop, the more of a chance you'll accidentally roll up the knife at the end of a pass and round over the edge. Be careful.

    Just got a Genesis Full Flat,.. would you recommend against using a Spyderco Sharpmaker then stropping for a fine edge!
    30° back bevel, 40° edge
    Thank you Sir!

      Thanks for your interest in our knives. Roughly 19-20 degrees per side.
      Spyderco sticks and a strop should work well. Please email us at info@ltwrightknives.com with any further questions.

      It's a convex edge so, use something that conforms with that. Check out #2 in our sharpening series.
