its definitely not wrong to like both, and its not "wrong" exactly to find similarities in music genres, but when people say atl sound like 5sos is what sort of gets to me. Cause atl came first so technically you would say 5sos sounds like atl. And i can get why people think they re similar. I mean, ATL is pop punk and has always been and 5sos is mostly pop with a dash of pop punk in a few of their songs. Please don't hate me for saying what i've said. I'm sorry I find that really stupid. So who cares if people find out about different bands from other artist. Does it really affect your life that someone likes a certain type of music? No. If it does that's sad.

its definitely not wrong to like both, and its not "wrong" exactly to find similarities in music genres, but when people say atl sound like 5sos is what sort of gets to me. Cause atl came first so technically you would say 5sos sounds like atl. And i can get why people think they re similar. I mean, ATL is pop punk and has always been and 5sos is mostly pop with a dash of pop punk in a few of their songs. Please don't hate me for saying what i've said. Some people blow this way out of proportion with the whole "fucking 5sos fangirls comparing bands" thing. Of course people are going to compare music they like. There is nothing wrong with that. If this were a video for a panic! song off of Pretty. Odd. no one would get mad if someone commented about how it clearly has influences from The Beatles. So why do we keep making such a big deal out of this. (sorry about my little rant that has almost nothing to do with anything. whoops)
