I farm to trade. Bill has some good trades so i don't have to run around finding beeswax or embers. A big farm means I can get those in huge numbers passively by doing stuff at my base and letting the plants grow. The trades also have better copper to circuit board and component kit ratios so I use those trades since copper always seems so limited.
Ive gotten past bill and the next few quests doing the subquests and found some deep forterra lore but then my truck and I fell through the world with quest items on it and the truck never reappeared I am thinking of starting all over since its not looking like ill be able to finish the side quest to get new ones

It's one of those mods that i enjoy watching other people play but it's far to grindy for my personal taste.

you can just type /unlimited and then give yourself the quest items back (just type /limited to go back to normal)
