Base survival has inventory limits, I’d know because I reached it
Used to play with a friend and I gathered like all the oil and glue clams because I’d just go out to sea swimming for oil and glue until I ran out of space

Pro tip to save some time: you can equip the corn and just click on the wok and it will eat eat, rather than placing ot on the ground. So much faster!

In case you were curious, you can tell the type of tree based on the model (note: I'm note a botanist or scrap mechanic expert).
1. The small, white trees represent the characteristic white spotted bark of a birch tree (it's not universal among different types of birch, but this is the most common depiction seen in video games. Think birch trees in Minecraft.) The specific species here is Betula papyrifera or paper birch, native to North America. They are short lived trees, meaning their bark famously peels off in easy little layers, which is how it gets its name. Birch, despite being a softwood, is actually very strong (and very pretty), which is why it is seen very frequently in furniture.
2. The average looking trees are the ever famous Oak trees. Oak is very diverse in its different iterations, but it is widely regarded as a strong and common wood type. The trees are larger than that of paper birch, and live significantly longer. This, of course, makes the wood more dense.
3. And finally, the almighty redwood trees stand above anything else in the natural world, both in real life and in scrap mechanic. Redwoods are famously massive, holding the record for largest tree in existence, Hyperion. Hyperion is a costal redwood in California that clocks in at a staggering 380 feet (or 116 meters if your flag isn't on the moon). It, along with the rest of the redwoods, live incomprehensibly long, and subsequently have very strong wood. This wood in particular has the highly coveted quality of not just being incredibly strong but also being completely resistant to rot. This makes them by far the most valuable trees out there. Their depiction in scrap mechanic is in keeping with this (though I do not know if this is due to research done by the wonderful people at Axolot or as a gameplay choice). Redwoods are far too difficult to cut down with hand tools, and must be chopped down and meticulously processed with large specialized equipment, generally requiring vast amounts of effort. It is worth it, however, as they grant you much more valuable wood as compared to other trees (wood block 1 vs scrap wood).

Hey scrapman, here's some cool hints for you Mini Spoiler alert, not too important, just a tiny one.
There are 2 Easter eggs in the ForTerra HQs basement, one in the elevator shaft and one where I'm sure you will find just exploring, although, you can only get to these Easter eggs once u start a side quest, that's all, I'm not gonna try and spoil anymore, goodluck finding them if you didn't know about them already😁

this game gives me alot of subnautica vibes, if you like a game like this i would love to see you play subnautica altough i am probably not the first person asking this but i do believe subnautica is within your type of content even if it was a game that came out quite a while ago

There is a well next to the farm. You can use the water in it to fill up the watering can.
pickaxe work around discovered by me while playing this mod (not sure if anyoane has talked about this i did not look into it) pressing once and waiting a bit and pressing again will result in you being abble to do the first swing of the pickaxe again and again while its not the hardest thing in the world i tried an auto clicker and found that 800 miliseconds is good enough
edit: scrap that if you can use 580 miliseconds its like twice as fast
I'm so glad you decided to play survival again, even in a mod. It feels so fresh and fun again. You could help connect the mod developers with axolot and they could work together to make jt an even funner game!! Keep it up🎉🎉
You kept us waiting.....But it definitely was only a matter of time before you did play this. Mainly because of the content of this mod (sneaky nod and a wink at the modders) because if you know, you know. But also they've added so many awesome QOL things into this. For instance, craft a mug from polished metal (metal 1 and beeswax) and then take that and bottled water to a cooking table to craft. . . . . . . .DRINKABLE WATER!!!!!!! It's such a novel idea!!! Water being plentiful, but vanilla survival only gives us Wok juice to drink.
One thing I do wish the devs would clearly state is the names of the new fauna. There's Llubs, Raebs, and Flows (I'm not sure on that last one.) But they are in the same naming convention as Woc, so do the thinking on that. But this is such an awesome mod and really brings a truer survival game to the survival Scrap Mechanic. Like it's so much more work to get a vehicle even though you can craft circuit boards and component kits (because there are a lot less bots to drop those things.) So have fun and I look forward to seeing your reaction to the "content."
You either missed it or skipped it. Look into the achievements a little more for the first bit of "content." It's something you'd be familiar with. But to let you know, this mod slows down the game a lot. You don't get an all purpose hammer. You get specialized tools and upgraded versions of them. You also have your lift which you forgot about completely that's also in Creative mod (as in you can pull up blueprints you've saved in Creative.) To give you some pointers, make sure if you're fighting the Flows that you at the bare minimum exchange a blow with them. If they're getting more hits on you than you are on them, you're done for. If there's multiple, focus one but don't despair if you hit a different one. In the multiple against 1 scenario, try to get multiple hits in before your shoved back. Llubs (the tusk bulls) get defensive if a Woc near them is attacked by anything. That's something I think the modders need to work on. If you attack a Woc and there's a Llub near by, he's going to charge at you. If you're near by a Woc and a Llub and a Flow or Raeb attacks the Woc, the Llub still will go after you. Not the threat attacking the Woc, you. So keep that in mind.
Last bit is while I haven't solved this part, you can hand feed Wocs corn. You don't need to plop down all of your corn as you can basically (in a sense) shove it into a Woc. You can also hand feed a Llub and if it's near by a Woc and you feed both within a short time period, the Woc will suddenly get a timer of around 2.5 hours. I've never had a Woc actually survive that long and I've seen the number go into the negatives. I think they're supposed to be breedable, but I've never gotten it to work. Last-last bit of tips for this mod. There's quite a lot in vanilla survival that will be taken for granted in this mod. In this mod you don't just slap a new controller together, you don't accidentally an engine, you don't magic suspension with a bit of metal and oil. You have to build a lot of the components required to make those items. So wheels require center hubs (I forget what they're called in the game) and the tire components. Storage containers require a lid and the bottom half. If you want the larger storage boxes, that's a different recipe. If you want a large storage box capable of utilizing the vacuum tubes, that's a large storage box plus another set of components to get that. This mod is a bit complex, but it's really fun. It's totally worth you playing, but even more worth you multiplaying it with "the gang".

We definitely need more this is really good More expansion on the original half of survival More dynamic
make sure you don't make the same mistake as kan and kosmo and get rushed in the first raid. The wolfs destroy all your crops VERY quickly. Either plant 9 or less crops to not trigger a raid or build decent fences or a complete building to protect the crops.
