I wonder if theres a way to select a column of numbers and have Excel display which numbers are cold/hot, so i can make a decision on numbers that might be overdue? So, although i am well aware that lotteries are random, there may be a way of using 'overdue' numbers as a long term strategy.
Yes, each draw is random. However, I suppose if you wanted to find "overdue" numbers ... Most lotteries publish historical lists of drawn numbers. You could scrape those numbers and pull in to Excel and find the least occuring numbers and use those as your "overdue" numbers. Good luck! If you win, think of the Excellent Dude. Cheers!

How would you use the frequency charts for having a higher chance of picking the winning numbers?
You could do frequency charts of individual numbers. However, given the draws are random, if you generate millions of random numbers, the likelihood of any number drawn will inevitably become the same. Winning the lottery is like being struck by lightning, while standing on one foot while eating an ice cream cone. The video is more about "solving" a real world "problem" to learning concepts in Excel.

how do you use the past results for the generator, to not use the combinations already played, please and thank you
Interesting question. Off the top of my head I would think you could use VBA to save past generator results and then compare current generator results against them. However, if you had the time (millions of generator draws), you'd end up with a pool of very few new results. Most lotteries do post the previous/archive draw results for the past year(s) - you could certainly run your excel generator draws against the archive lists.
How can I set up multiple draws simultaneously? Like 100 draws with one press of F9
You could go to the Connections group in the Data tab and click "Refresh All" and then click Connection Properties where you could then set up a refresh for a specific time period. However, this would only rerun the F9 - not capture the results of each refresh. For that, you'd need to create a macro or use VB.

Sure! If I understand your question, you can simply do the random process for the 3 instead of the 5 numbers. However, if your pick 3 scenario can have the same number come up more than once (have repeats), you can use the RANDBETWEEN function 3 times.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. If you created 1,000,000 combinations you could use MODE to come up with a combination of the most common numbers.
