what I keep hearing is that you only play BDO to generate content, and otherwise its only a source of stress and anxiety for you. Please drop BDO outside of afk fishing or whatever for a few months, and play some other things - you aren't having fun with it, and your time is too precious to spend doing something you loathe simply for youtube engagement. play a game or games that give you satisfaction or joy. I would also encourage you to think of a subscription game a little differently - though I don't know how tight your finances are, but maybe consider the value you place on $15 more closely whenever you feel anxious about the cost. Its around 4 gallons of gas. for me that's the cost of driving to work for two days.
Recently in terms of content, yes. I could justify paying a sub, if I found any games that were actually worth it. The $15 being around 4 gallons of gas is a bit different here where I am. When I was working out for someone else I would burn more than that to get to work and back in one day. To get anywhere near a 'city' it's about 40 miles, and that's a 100k population. I play a lot of games outside of recording. I just don't record or post them because I've tried in the past and no one wants to watch them. I used to play LOL a lot. I currently play Fortnite with my wife. I enjoy GW2 and Last Chaos. There's also a ton of single player games I have yet to play that I want to go through, but let's plays don't do well here any more.
Most of the time, BDO plays itself. I AFK fish, sell the imperial fishing, repair, and repeat. I was thinking about the new black myth wukong game coming out, as well as the 2nd Jedi survivor game also. I heard the gameplay is similar between the 2. As far as the mountain of time, I'm on the back side and the slope is getting steeper. I enjoy listening to a kindred spirit, so I'll continue hanging around. I'm done playing a game like a second job. Been there, done that chasing completion on nightmare difficulty content and trying to compete to be top tier DPS on every operation/dungeon. In the end, the guild and team falls apart until you are struggling on lower content again. Burnout and quitting is always going to happen eventually. Don't sweat it now, just play what you enjoy at the pace you want. You won't recapture the old glory days, but you are also free to do what you want, when you want, and that includes IRL things that become more important as we get older.
I always look forward to seeing your comments. I agree with not playing any game as a second job. No one has that kind of time any more. Not with games suddenly requiring more and more, and well, just more.
I think that's what all of us are doing at this point. Now that the fishing event is in termian I can't be bothered to even go and do imperials. Just offload fish, repair, and reset it up.
CrowdStrike outage affects Microsoft systems worldwide. That was more than likely related to some of the BDO server issues. My company had some issues also. SWTOR is tab target also. It has free to play also.
I did some digging and saw what the outage was. I didn't want to record and have PA take BDO back down again so I played it safe. I wish someone would make a modern knights of the old republic. I assume that what SWTOR was supposed to kind of be, but when I looked at it I didn't hear good things about it.
@@vengensir It depends what you're looking for. There are 8 different class stories that are all voiced and done very well. It is worth it if you are a big Star Wars fan, otherwise, you will probably not be able to get into it. It is a WOW clone with similar gameplay and I really loved it for many years. I still do what you do with your old flames and log in, run around to see what's going on etc.

I just log on to turn in imperial meals and transport crates at this point lol

Love the last chaos :D
I do too, but take frequent breaks.

Combat looks intense, might just swap from BDO. The graphics are stunning too
