- My friend Liam Ellis and Red bull KTM MXGP Racer Liam Everts up to my place to ride some enduro. Mid ride we helped clear some bulls off the hills. I’m not sure how world championship level MX skills cross over to slippery single track and chasing cows.
Liam came fourth overall in MX2 this year, not bad for 20! His Dad is Stephan Everts 10 times world MX Champion and a rider I idolised and studied when I was trying become a racer.

Classic, awesome country and riding
I could smell the two stroke smoke..Thank you!
NZ looks like an absolute paradise to ride in. I'm always a bit jealous when I see videos like this.
Oh the jersey bull muster, fun times when those buggers get worked up
Intensely beautiful country, riding looks not too bad as well 😉
Not bad for a ride from home!
Just another day riding for us kiwis. Cut my teeth doing farm work on bikes you learn how to carry a lot of farm gear on a bike that way. Cool vid wish I was there.
Really nice trails! and that Red-bull helmet 😍
That looked quite hard
Kiwi Native, cant beat it!
The first time I can actually say I do what chris birch does, stops and tells people about the trees!!!
I love doing that 😂 and no one ever cares😂
That single trail country looks gorgeous. Prime riding. So jealous, all the country looks gorgeous tbh. New Zealand is breathtaking
Indeed! So very jealous!
It’s a good place for sure!
@chrisbirch-offroadcoach9177 are you ever planning on comming to western Australia for some enduro coaching?
Riverhead? was my initial thoughts but so much of the NI forests look the same. Maramarua? Sick to have Liam Everts ride there with you, good off season change for him too.🤘
ps, he should have stayed on the 2stroke when ya got to the really narly stuff, 4stroke made it much harder. sick stuff though, good to see him out here. MXGP title in 2024💯🤟
QUE MAQUINAS !!!
Any ones dream easily reality
Be good to get his dad along next time.
Hay Chris ... how do you think an 890 or even the 1190 would go on this trail . i get that the 890 is bigger but 1-10 how much harder ?
🐄🏍
Wait! What was the tree story Chris?
5:30 bump!
Do you use a higher steer as normal?
Like taking a duck to the water with chicken feet.
Went from pro racer to stockman in no time
