I think the rush we get as gardeners planting these ratty, tattered, tired ole plants in the fall, is the anticipation of what they will look like in spring, when they start to peek out from the warming soil. I have planted a TON of clearance and divided plants in the last few weeks, and I CANNOT WAIT until I see them in full glory come spring and early summer. I'm just like a child who can't stand the wait before opening a gift. 🥰
@@annadam Anna do well said!! We know how Spring brings life and beauty . Our grass died back turned brown this summer with the drought yet a couple of rains and it’s green and living again . We appreciate when Mother Nature gives back even a little during times of climate change. I must change with the climate . I will be more forgiving . These new plants to me will brighten all the spaces. Great gardening friends!
I have the Japanese Forest Grass on my list! When my son took Latin in high school I would ask him to pronounce Latin plant names for me. He would always say it really isn't a spoken language...LOL
@@rachelshepherd8099 I had two years of Latin in my high school liked languages also French in college but darn if you don’t use it you loose it🧐😂. I believe I’m going to find this grass very softening for the gardens. Have you begun the clearing of your borders? Our weather is so comfy now for another week. But dry I did water today with all the new plantings and some annuals still in bloom. Our coldest night 32 yet on the river it is it’s own microclimate . It may be a heavy frost in front yard and not in the garden . It’s 18 feet lower .
Good morning Teresa and Reg I know you love your hostas and they do very in well in your garden. I think we all have the problem of plants being described highly fragrant, sweet scent etc only to be disappointed with no fragrance😢 please tell Reg we really appreciate him for being your producer. Thank you Reg and Theresa 💞💕👍
