Black and white photos of 8 legger aec and Leyland octopus. These are owned and restored by John Murphy of Huddersfield and still out regularly.
The Scania 113 with Hoyer GP tank I believe was N reg, owned by Neil Walker from new, an owner/driver who passed it on to another owner/driver Andy Shaw and the last time I saw it was a few years ago with a low loader at Otley Festival of Transport

I crew in London in the seventies, my dad drove mostly Leyland the best for me for comfort was the Clydesdale because he had a bench passing seat. But I loved the awc but the buffalo was my favourite because of the sound, just bad if there was a third person because I had the engine cover as a seat because it was a little hot in the summer, he drove many old lorries like dodge and the ford custom, I have 2 brilliant photos of a old grab tipper he drove. Love the memories, there were loads on the waste site 1 being a single cab foden but the fibre glass scammell were great too, but I must add these were all noise and no motion, the last truck he drove was a Volvo fl6 brand new to him then all the drivers, these started on the newer e reg. my dad worked for Henry Boyers first in Paddington, the instant in nw London the claddagh in east London then lastly mc’grath bros in Hackney then to bark. I wish he was still here. Rip dad. ❤️

Brilliant can't wait to see them, especially cement and limestone filler tankers.
