Dziękujemy za Twoją szczerą reakcje. Ten utwór jest wysiłkiem ponad 700 muzykow, instrumentalisow, 16 wokalistow. Pomysł Adam Sztaba - dyrygent, ktory gra na początku na fortepianie. Ale tez i praca montazystow i innych. Szacunek! Niesamowita praca i swieyne nagranie wszech czasów.
This song (a cover, to be precise) was recorded during the strictest restrictions related to the COVID19 pandemic, when musicians were not allowed to perform in public. Artists all over the world have been recording collaborations with each other, in this case over 700 people took part in the project. You don't know Polish - understandable, ofc - but considering the context (people hiding in their homes, learning about the death of loved ones, unsure whether they will lose their jobs), the most important part is the chorus, starting with "Co mi Panie dasz": "What will you give me, Lord, in this uncertain time? What words will soothe my soul, guide my future, for the rest of my years? A few old rags, just to sit back on. Is it worth it, is it not, I pour strong liquor down my throat, to ease the pain." This song originally came out in 1982. We, Poles, have a long history of overcoming hard times. Thank you for reacting to this song.
