What a privilege to see old treasures. I have to confess…if someone brought beautiful things to a restaurant I would be in trouble by disturbing your table! I live on. A small rural town and feel your adventures are important to my soul. Keep freeing old things! keep sharing your details and descriptions. You possess a very rare gift in sharing your disciplined knowledge of your experiences. Especially the elements and design of how the beauties came to life. Jason, always be the spirit that you are. Cheers! A friend Mary. 🙂↕️
It wasn’t so much the “what,” but rather the “how” that was my favorite. For example, how you hang onto your finds for a while to absorb their essence before you let them go, and how the most beautiful citrine looked on your hand, and how you question the jelly belly Pekinese that isn’t quite right. This is how I learn from you Jason. Thank you! Love you too!
I can't pick a favourite item out of these glorious pieces - they're ALL my favourites!! But I will say that I agree with the chatelaine mirror. It should definitely be left alone! It shows the age of the piece, and gives it character. I do really love the iolite and diamond ring. It's stunning. Actually, I DO have a favourite in this video - YOU!! 💖😘🇭🇲
Thank you for sharing the Pekinese jelly belly. I’ve never seen an actual jelly belly before. I’ve heard a lot of people call a lot of things jelly bellies lol. Thank you again for educating us and setting the bar correct on what we need to look for. The way the designer punched his hallmark out in the back of that massive citrine and champagne 🥂 diamond ring is so so special to me! When you share such craftsmanship the layers of inspiration it could possibly bring to us is truly a gift… 💝
We are all easily distracted by shiny things. It is so hard to pick my favorite because every thing is so beautiful. The baby bracelets are so precious, I love the iolite ring, love that color. The colored bracelet and the mirror are probably my favorite overall. Love you too ❤❤❤
You appearing inside your light box, that is my favorite thing about this video, Jason! I could spend days watching you do this & it probably wouldn't matter what you were showing us😂
Thought some time about your comment of holding onto or keeping a new piece with you even putting it on the dining table! Yes! I think more of us do the same without really thinking about it. Jewelry is amulets. Jewelry from ancient times has functioned as amulets and protections. At some level these treasures communicate this to us. And they speak to us subliminally. So we hold onto them as something meaningful to ourselves. Jewelry serves a purpose! After all, jewelry appears in the late Paleolithic during which there were probably no fashion trends. Holding onto your special treasures is very normal for us humans! Also about pawn. Yep! Right on! Shop with them often!
These pieces are beyond incredibly phenomenal! My mind is in breathtaking mode. The Victorian baby bracelets are my favorite. For their to be two exactly alike my inclination someone may have had a set of twins. The history of pieces and the stories they hold and tell are just incredibly fascinating ❤
I loved all your treasures today. I am partial to garnets so I loved the pendant and the diamond ring on your index finger is just gorgeous. I get what you mean about not wanting to part with new pieces, I have to just marvel at the beauty of a new piece and bond with it. That was a great deal on the Effy ring too. ❤
Wonderful.... my favourites were the exquisite mourning ring, the Essex crystal bird, and the plique a jour scarab earrings. I recently found a 935 silver plique a jour winged scarab brooch, from the same era I believe, it's so beautiful. I also love the understated elegance of the Norwegian dish at the end. I'm excited that you are planning to share your knowledge about enamelling techniques with us in the future... can't wait! As always, thank you so much Jason! 🥰
Hi Jason, love your videos, I'm an old lady that thought she was knowledgeable about jewelry till she say your videos. Your the best. I'm learning so much.
Hi Jason! Wow, I love the Mourning ring, the baby bracelets, pretty much everything! I loved the Effy ring, the cool snake, the chatelaine mirror, I loved them all! I’m so grateful for all your knowledge and kindness to share with all of us!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I loved the diamond ring you are wearing on your left index finger, and was fascinated by the first 17th century painted or carved gold ring. It was so different!
Ahhhhhh the Iolite ring! Was on vacation and somehow saw only a few of your videos ..out of order🥴so I’m catching up. Love binging on your jewels and collections and all your fabulous-ness!
Hey Jason! Great pieces!! I loved the 18th Century ring, but was also captivated by the work and quality that went into the sword! How exquisite! (Im an old lady saber fencer btw, and it makes me want to bedazzle my sabers. 😂) The Nolan design IS fantastic! The dragon’s breath piece i see as a pendant, as if it needs to rest on a background- like a queen.... I too sometimes hold onto items, move them around, keep them close. It's like you're feeling their energy and getting to know them. (Who knows, maybe you are actually feeling the energy that the pieces once absorbed in the past while being crafted or worn. You may be sensitive to it ✨️!)......You are amazing, Jason! Thanks for your warm and wonderful presentations! ❤
Ye Jason my aunt Ruth used to pawn a diamond watch and opal pin growing up my mom had polio so auntie Ruth kept food on the table at the end of the month by pawning her two prized pieces 😊 God bless her she's gone now 7 years ago.So yes people pawn stuff when in need ❤❤❤❤
Hi darling Jason, you are emotionally attached to your beautiful pieces, that's why you take them with you, so sweet. All stunning, since you asked, my favourite piece is the garnet pendant. My birth stone, the lovely colours as you mentioned and the silver setting won me. I collect EFFY. I'm watching on Wednesday morning in Queensland on a wet miserable winter day. So thanks for putting sunshine ☀ in my day with your happy voice and beautifully stunning pieces. ❤ Sue

Hi Jason!😀it's difficult to choose a favorite, again, in this video, lol! The baby bracelets just melted my heart, so sweet! The reversed carved bird pendant, love!! The french pendant with the antiqued mirror inside, pretty! I don't know what it is about aged mirrors, but I just think they're beautiful, my dresser has one. Who doesn't love a lavender jade happy buddha☺❣AND..haha..i can see why you picked up the N.Miller brooch, it's very cheerful and beautiful! With ALL of that said, I have to admit, if i hear a word and it intrigues me i will go straight away and look it up. As i did with diaphones! What a great new word for me 👏What a beautiful old necklace from the 1700's..what! Thank you, i really enjoyed learning and seeing all the pretty items❣Much Love💫
