Hope it is more of an extension of Svengoolie brand! Love both shows and cast of new characters are great. Hope house concept gets more folks to tune into Sven!
The House of Svengoolie is a great concept, and I do like the idea of an ensemble cast, but there's no real sense of cohesion among the group--each character has a completely different tone as if they were plucked from different shows. There's no real chemistry and watching them feels like a bunch of audition tapes were accidentally spliced together, which I guess is what this basically is. Don't think any of the three--yes, even Bill Leff--have the over-the-top charisma to make a really compelling primary horror host.
