Hi Scotty, what do you think about a saab 93 aero from 2001?
Scotty or anyone please help me. I scanned my car with obd scanner just to check for codes and right after i unplugged it. My car wont start. My car was in perfect shape and running until then. I tried the hard rest with diconnecting battery etc. Plz help. Scotty kilmer or anyone. Im begging.

I have a LS 430 2004
14 Years 280,000 miles no problem until last year Stater went bad $500.00 ALSO breaks $ 400.00 since I owned it.
I bought a LS 460 3 years ago. Today I have 80,000 miles LS 460 on it. I still have my 2004 with no problems. Now I'm about to buy a LS 500.

The LS Lexus series has been on my “wish list” since before I got a license to drive. At the time that was the first generation LS400 (early 90s)... They were beautiful then and they are beautiful to this day

I ALWAYS enjoy your videos, Scotty...Well done on this one! I bought a previously owned 2018 LS500 for my wife last November. It had less than 1,000 miles...first owner was wealthy and traded often! I got a significantly lower price for basically a new car! It is hands down the best car I have ever owned!

I have a 2014 GS hybrid. I actually do not think I would have accepted the trade for a new LS. I go to service with it at the dealer, and check out the cars on display. Same conclusion...

I get to drive all the Lexuses that Scotty talks about. I’ve worked in a Lexus dealership for 8 years (not in sales). These cars are spectacular. They are comfortable (even the new UX is cushy), durable, reliable, and the safety features on the newer vehicles are really impressive. Rear cross traffic alert, park assist, pre-collision warning, lane trace assist, radar cruise control, steering assist, blind spot monitor, etc. to go with the ridiculous number of airbags and now the automatic braking when approaching objects at low speeds either forward or in reverse. The Apple Car play is a great addition. I use Waze on all my drives and the map projects onto the display screen and gives verbal directions while I listen to podcasts on iHeart Radio. It is “work” in name only when driving courtesy loaner vehicles and service guest’s vehicles to and from the dealership.
How do you like the IS 350 F Sport? I'm looking into getting one myself. I'm 5'11 so would that car be a comfortable drive for me?
I drive a 2017 GS350 and smile every time I get behind the wheel. Love my GS! Nicely done, Scotty.

I have a 2021 LS500. Dark blue w white interior. The car is so well made that I just sit in it and listen to music. Yup it’s a boat but it’s a full sized luxo barge and it floats down the road. I always try to sit in back and let someone else drive, it’s that comfortable, and beautiful, driveway jewelry 🏖️

Even I have my comfortable Lexus which is fun enough and I have a Boxster and an older Celica Alltrac as my more fun cars. When you talk about luxury cars, I always say... Mercedes, Jaguar, etc dosent make cars the way they used to. Lexus just keeps on getting better. Lexus never even offered a cheaper version unlike Mercedes. It is just all luxury and reliability.
If rich people flex their Mercedes or BMW, Scotty flex his Lexus
Have bought used LS400, LS430 and LS460L and never taken any of them to a dealer for repairs or Maintenance. All have over 127K to 230K and run like a new car. ie great quiet smooth ride and excellent gas mileage on hwy. avg. 26.5 mpg @ 85 on cruise on all three V8’s will only buy Lexus made in Japan. Best cars made 😉
That’s the car that turned me on to Lexus again. By the way, I’ve seen low mileage 2018 LSs priced between $48k and $60k.

Gotta admit...my wife leased a 2016 Lexus IS200t RWD. It was a 50 (yes 50) month lease completely trouble free. Still can't believe that....best car we ever "had possession of" from a reliability stand point.

I bought a 2nd hand 2010 Lexus ISF with only 85,000 Km on it after suffering with an E92 M3 BMW. Never looked back.
I have a 2004 LS430. It still feels and performs just like it did it's first day. Best car I've ever owned.
I own a 2018 LS 500h, all-wheel drive. I get 30 miles to the gallon on road trips, which include driving through mountain country.

I would agree with Mike Jones, 20+ years ago, but the Germans have over complicated their vehicles now... Let's be honest, they no longer last the test of time. The public has spoken...just look at the German resale values.
As for Genesis...be careful not to confuse cheap parlor tricks with true quality. Genesis is getting better but lacks the quality stamina to hang for the long haul. Again...resale plummits very quickly.
Both (German & Genesis) great cars to lease (which all the rich- that want to stay rich- do), but not to own.
The LS’s are my favorite cars

Worked for Lexus during the LS 460 L birth. This is far superior. For the same price schmucks were paying back then for a back seat fold down tray. Now you got massage chairs!!!!

When Japanese car manufactures decided to make luxury cars, European Lux cars was way way ahead. Japanese cars image was almost opposite from luxury ,
cheap, dull , boring, ugly design.
So it was almost mission impossible.
And still, thinks were behind from German or British, Italian luxury cars.
Still trying to catch up with them.
But I feel there is a good side too.
It gives motivation to be better.
If Toyota start to self-conceited and loose humbleness , they will go downhill quickly

My 2010 S550 is loaded more than this Lexues it has an Adaptive cruise control with all seat massaging also heating and cooling, it also has a night view assist with dynamic seat and a V8 naturally aspirated with 168K miles and still runs like a clock nothing is break!
My 2004 LS430 has adaptive cruise...
Most people say there favourite car is a Ferrari or Lamborghini simply because they forget about the Lexus LFA
You mean they forgot about the Toyota LFA which is a poor man Ferrari. it is no more than an overpriced imitation. if you want a luxury car buy the original. Did it ever cross your mind why reach Japanese don't buy these Toyotas or why many of them are sold in Japan as Toyota and not as Lexus?

When the LS400 came out in 1989, it was the biggest rival of the European sedans like Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar. I like Jaguars and own an XJ40 so I used to read the Jaguar World magazine religiously. Few years ago in one issue there was a reliability comparison between the XJ40 and the LS400. A five years old XJ40 is 50% of a new one while an LS400 is 90%. Not the price but how many parts failed and needed to replace after 5 years.

I get that a few Mercedes Benz’s have setups that are indeed endless money pits, but from my experience with a Mercedes e250 m274 engine, it’s been smooth sailing. No significant issues so far. That said this Lexus looks very nice and powerful too.
Dude you can still find fully working og lexus ls with 400k miles with mostly original material. And with regular maintenance, will still drive like new. How do the mercedes compare?
