- Hey guys, with the news of the remake (?! what the..?) I got all nostalgic and made up this vid. Trust me when I say, there is another alternative to Remaking Highlander or Hamlet 2 (stupid!). But of coarse,
TPTB will not listen. sigh Enjoy.
BTW the music is performed by Alphaville, I heard it as a Laura Branigan hit originally. I don't know who wrote it, but it was appropriate.

Straight to favorites. A perfect combo of my favorite TV show with one of my favorite songs. I always thought that this song was befitting this series but its style was a bit different from the usual Queen soundtrack of Highlander. In this sort of setting it works great though. Thanks for making and sharing this video.

They may try using a different cast but it won't be the same. Like Battlestar Galactica, remake was popular with those that hadn't seen the original. But having failed with the last movies, the TPTB need to do something to bring Highlander back. We can only hope!!!! I enjoyed the vid very much. dd in NH

@SoCalCornHusker I stand corrected by my search for Forever Young. Apparently there are 2 different songs with that title. Alphaville did a song in the 80s by the same title as one written by Bob Dylan [1973 album "Planet Waves"]. Bob Dylan Forever Young (Original). Alphaville - Forever Young (Official Music Video) .

The first Highlander is the best. It started it all. The TV series carried the franchise as the movie sequels were bad but the first Highlander movie overshadows them all, including the TV series.
well the producers side of things that's what they thought they were getting it but they were getting Connor MacLeod. But when it actually came out it was dunkin Connors cousin best friend and Connor did show up he just couldn't show up all the time because Christopher Lambert wasn't really supposed to be on the show. They actually approached Chris about doing the show back then when they had the theory that he would be Connor MacLeod with a television show but it got changed to Duncan MacLeod because I don't know you'd have to listen to the interview with Chris and Adrian what's his name.cuz they did talk about it they talked about why it wasn't Connor MacLeod and then it was Duncan instead. The comics even brought into another character Liam MacLeod I think who has weird and different powers in fact I'm fairly sure he's telekinetic or something like that those are I know I may be getting his name wrong with Fergus I can't remember.. I do remember his name is McLeod though. And he's of Conner's clan and he is an immortal.and even though being immortal means that they're not really related to each other there is related to each other as a mortals can be seeing as to how they count themselves his cousins and even Brothers.
For me Highlander Endgame was a great movie sad but still great
