- Trying British Crisps For The First Time! Here in this video, we try multiple different kinds of British Crisps and for the first time we get to give our rating for each flavor/brand. Trying each British Crisp was a fun experience which gave us a opportunity to try something that's brand new to us, yet kind of familiar. I like Tayto crisps but they are hard to find in mainland Britain as they are from either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Tayto are definitely better than Walkers, IMO. Glad you enjoyed them.
I found out afterwards that Tayto is Irish but popular in Britain. Honestly, I like them both lol

Prawn cocktail is my fav go to!! But tayto cheese and onion is 🤴🤴
We have a thing here (in dublin, also nationwide) called a crisp sandwich were we butter two plain slices of bread and put tayto cheese and onion crisps on them and put them together, Sooo good!! Yum

I'll have to look out for Tayto's next time I'm in Ireland, I live not far away in Wales. One of the main brands in the UK after Walkers are McCoys, their Thai Sweet Chicken crisps are really good. My favourite are Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli, they're delicious and not TOO spicy, just right. Smiths Scampi and Bacon Fries are very good, Seabrooks are great and some other really good brands to look out for include Tyrrells, Real Handcooked and Kettle.
Yeah I think the British shop I went into only had those brands. And Tayto was really good which was funny because I had a feeling they were Irish when I got them but doubted myself because they were in a British shop haha. I’d love to the U.S. get more varieties here because I had to really look around until I found that one shop.
those tayto he has are the Northern Irish UK brand. tayto in the south of ireland and North are different texture. IMO the Northern Irish tayto are better the ones he had.

To clarify about Tayto, because its confusing. There are two makers of crisps called Tayto. One from the Republic of Ireland and another from Northern Ireland. To add confusion they have a very similar mascot and package design. It looked like you had the Northern Irish version. So from the UK

Monster Munch for me is "Meh". Are ok, but I'd never buy them.

I was sad when your son didn't like Prawn Cocktail BUT he had a puffed one, which has less taste and flavour. The pinker colour of the CRISP has a stronger taste so its got more flavour. You find some of them in the pack sometimes. Also shout out to salt and vinegar, and cheese and Onion. Ready salted is just plain but nice. Good vid! :)
Unsure if you have Hula Hoops and Pringles in USA. Twiglets u might like, might not lol.
Pringles we have but not the other two. And yes! Salt and Vinegar is #1 😂

In my opinion the best way to eat monster munch is to bite off all the claws. My fave are Nice n Spicy nik naks. And I think for the lays and walkers situation is that walker owned/owns lays but like you said pespi bought them so they are same thing diff names 👍
Yeah from what I read, lays is owned by Pepsi co which bought Walkers. They wanted to keep the name walkers since it was a popular brand and they changed the logo to their lays logo.

Yeah we found that out later. We bought it from a British shop so it was assumed at the time even though i did think it sounded Irish
