Yes I build it from plywood in stitch and glue. Like James Wharram build his Tikis The ama is ok. It is half as Long, wide and high as the main hull which is 6,0meter , 0,6meter, 0,75 meter. It has ca. 100 Liter volume. The ama is symmetric. The main hull is 0,4meter wide to windward and 0,2meter to leeward. The whole proa is 3,0 meter wide.

Moin I want to stick with the traditional rigg variant. But I already have some ideas what I will do to shunt and sail faster. Next summer I make a new Video.
Warum machst du nicht einfach um das Segel zu bewegen eine Art Seilwinde? Also dass du für dieses Wendemanöver einfach nur an einem Seil ziehen musst. Macht das alles einfacher. Hatte mal als ich in der HYS war das Privileg das Boot zu bestaunen. Finde diese Boote nämlich super auch wenn mein Lieblingsboot immer der Laser bleiben wird!
Hallo, das war am Anfang auch meine erste Idee. Das Problem war aber das sich der Mastfuß auf dem Weg in anderen Leinen verfing wenn man das ganze nicht führte. Im 2. Jahr habe ich das dann etwas optimiert, war aber immer noch nicht wirklich gut. Ich bin jetzt dabei eine Rutscherschiene zu montieren auf der dann der Mastfuß laufen wird. An einer Leine gezogen. Das ist aber teuer und produziert auch wieder andere Probleme. Ich habe aber bei anderen gesehen das das geht. Im original wurde der Mastfuß einfach immer herumgetragen. Wenn du mal wieder da bist können wir ja mal segeln gehen. VG Lars
@@fjordproa6510 das Problem der Proas ist nunmal die eingeschränkte Wendigkeit. Vor allem wenn du in der Saison an den ganzen Schulbooten vorbei musst😂
@@moistermusicrecords don't forget how the proa worked at home - there the wind always blows in the same direction and the proa walks one tack in the morning. and in the evening he returns to another. No one goes to the shop!

No it is a 6 meter long self construction
