  • Did you know nearly 90% of all organic search clicks go to the top three search results on Google?
Not to mention 75% of clicks go to the number one spot.
That means as a practice, ranking at the number one spot on Google search for the treatments, conditions, and surgeries that you offer are absolutely critical.
I want to go over a couple ways to optimize a page to get to the top, above your competitors, in a local market.
Number one, it's not just about quality of the treatment pages on your website, it's about quantity. And what I mean by that is the length and word count of those pages.
First and foremost, if you want to rank for it, you need a page for it. So, you need a page for every treatment, and condition, and surgery that you want to go after those keywords.
But, second up, you need to make sure that there's enough quality content on that page. An easy trick to do this is writing FAQs. That way you don't have too much content for a patient to read through, and it doesn't mess with the design of the website without sacrificing the SEO rankings, which are really driven by content.
Number two is make sure your Google My Business is fully optimized and that you have an individual location page for each location that you have. It may sound odd when it comes to treatments, but location pages are what are going to drive the near me searches for the treatment you want to rank for.
And last but not least is backlink building. If you're having trouble really edging into the top three, we highly recommend building backlinks specifically to that treatment.
