    Not sure if Gaggia asked you to do this or whatever, but these videos are very, very much appreciated. 10 out of 10. Thank you.

    Is there a video on how to clean the milk craft with solution?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi KG, We do not currently have a video specifically for cleaning the carafe with a cleaning agent. Here's a link to the manual for the machine which details the process on page 21.

    Thank you so much this is very helpful!
    Can you tell me when I have to use a degreasing tablet? Does the machine reminds me when to perform this action?
    Where do I use the lubrication in the brewgroup and how often?
    And do I have to perform a full milk carafe cleaning once in a while with a special product?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Esther, You are welcome. With average home use we recommend using the cleaning tablet once a month. The machine does not alert you for that. Lubricate the slides of the brew group and the O-ring as shown in this video: studio.th-cam.com/users/videoHGmfnGN_JQA/edit?o=U
      You can use a product like Rinza for a deep claen of the carafe and components: www.wholelattelove.com/products/urnex-rinza-milk-frother-cleaner
      Can also disassemble the frothing components and clean by hand with soap and water.

    There is a small white filter that came in the water filter bag and I don't know where it goes?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi AE, Something beyond the filter itself? The regular filter inserts into the water reservoir.

    You definitely need soap and baby bottle cleaning gadgets-to get into the small nicks and crannies

    How do you clean burrs, I used to use tablets on my Breville infuser, so how do you clean the Velasca?

      @@Wholelattelovepage I have Grindz, I guess I didn't make myself clear, can you put the tablets in the hopper part of the velasca prestige and then what do you choose, what button do you push to run the cleaner through the burrs. Do you leave water in the machine. I wish you would do a video on how to use the product Grindz with the Gaggia Velasca Prestige. Thank you

    I’ve been trying to decide between the Velasca Prestige and the Anima Prestige. What do you feel the big differences are? Is one better performing than the other?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi i h, Thanks for the question. Some key differences: Anima Prestige has higher capacities for used coffee at 15 brew cycles vs. 10 for the Velasca Prestige. Also has clearance for taller cups. Height and depth are similar for the machines while the Anima is about 1.5" narrower. Brewing is near identical although the Velasca has more grind size adjust-ability. Hope that helps - let me know if you have more questions.

      Whole Latte Love thank you! That helps a ton. These have both been out for a while, but I have read mixed reviews on places like Amazon that make me nervous about the long-term reliability. Have y’all experienced either machine performing better than the other in terms of problems/reliability/durability?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, With proper maintenance both machines are capable of more than 15,000 cups. Both use essentially the same brewing components so it comes down to which machine features you prefer. Amazon reviews often trouble me as well! Have to take them with a grain of salt. If you provide the machine with good water, descale when the machine tells you to, rinse the brew group and stay away from beans with an oily surface sheen the machine will serve you well. If you'd like some one on one advice on machines you can talk with one of our coffee pros by phone, chat or email. Here's our contact info: www.wholelattelove.com/contact-us Our coffee pros are available should you have any questions after a purchase too. I'll also mention we are a Gaggia certified repair center so in the unlikely event you have a problem down the road we can take of that.Marc

    Hey Mark
    My volume of water supplied to when i want to get a FULL cup of coffee (espresso lungo) i get a small amount of water. Can't figure out how to control the volume of water supplied??

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Dan, Thanks for the question. Use the press and hold method to program beverage volumes. Just press and hold the beverage button you want to program until you see "memo" in the display. Allow the beverage to dispense and when you have the amount you want in your cup press the checkmark button to save that amount.

    My machine is brand new just got it yesterday as a Xmas gift but it won’t turn on pass the no water part even though it has water why

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi KG, Sorry you are having an issue. If the machine tried to draw in water and it did not it likely needs to be forced primed. This sometimes happens when machines have not been used for awhile or are new. Here's a link to a section of a video showing how to force prime the Velasca: th-cam.com/video/YViVX0RBYk8/w-d-xo.html

    • @kgonzalez85able
      @kgonzalez85able 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Wholelattelovepage thank you but I just spoke with support and they said to send it back so we will see if the new one they replace it with will have this issue or not and will give it a try.

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kgonzalez85able That's good. Maybe a bad water tank sensor which force priming will not fix.

    This is my only downfall of this machine you have to clean this craft (8) piece almost every 3 days as milk gets stuck and start to spoil and smell
