Exploring the SACRED MONKEY FOREST and CENTRAL UBUD: A MUST-SEE Destination in Bali

After 3 straight days rain, we finally got some sun and was able to venture out and make the most of our our last day in Ubud.
We started things out with the famous Sacred Monkey Forest, which is a natural forest reserve in the heart of the vibrant Central town of Ubud and is home to hundreds of monkeys that roam freely throughout the forest.
Because it's unique nature and convenient location, most tourists that visits Ubud usually ends up here at some point. So we had to see it for ourselves.
Located just a short walk away, we also visited Central Ubud, which is the bustling center of the town, filled with shops, restaurants and cultural attractions such as the famous Ubud Palace, a traditional Balinese palace that is now used as a cultural center and performance venue.

The villa was incredible - Ubud has endless affordable options for villas so it was actually hard to pick one! Definitely one of our favorite parts of the island
