Hey noah ! I am lebanese 17 years years old self taught pianist . I really enjoy your videos please keep it up ❤ . You are not noah kellman you are noah killer chords man 😂😂❤ .
Thank you thank you i need these exercises to developement my jazz improvisation i heard many of these on the radio many many years ago but cannot figure out what the heck it was but with your videos this gonna be allright God Bless you and your family many thanks
It seems that if one doesn't practice with a metronome the first few times that, the cadence can become all messed up. It winds up sounding amateurish. From now on, I'm definitely doing this with a metronome.
Hi there!! On the first pattern, how would you explain the theory behind the quartal voicing you’re using. In other words, what would I name the chord. It appears to have an 11 and a b7. So, is this a dominant sound?
Hello! I really like your approach and you offer great ideas and material for study. Is there a possibility to send you an email, so you can advise me from where to start from your site? I want to expand my vocabulary, improvisation and modal
@@ChristianneNeves I see. My opinion is that patterns work great over almost anything. These can work over major as well, you could just start them in a place where they begin diatonically to that major chord so there is some rooted sound tonally speaking.
Dude, that first run is cold killin it! It's exactly the kind of technique that can make my blues sound more jazzy and sophisticated. Thanks Noah.

Great video as always, thanks a lot.
Would you make a video about hexatonics/triad pairs concepts? That would be very cool.
Hey Dávid, will definitely keep that in mind in the future! Haven’t done a ton of hecatonics so I’ll have to do a bit of practice first :)

Pat 1 sounds better w/ 7-13 voicing (F13 = Eb-A-D) in LH.
HI Noah. The lick number 5 can also works with an X4,7 chord? or only X7? thanks
Hey Christianne, sorry what does the X mean?
@@NoahKellman any chord... We use it in Brazil just to mention any chord Xm , X7, Xsus... when we speak generally.
