    Coffe Shop and Palo Santo Sandalwood is amazing! Mellows out the coffee. I made soap and candles with it. So good. Try the Palo Santo Sandalwood with White Sage and Lavender too! Also mellows out the White Sage.

    I received my samples today and love all the new fragrances! I tried the Fog and Fern with Sel de Mer and really liked the combination. I'm looking forward to more of these videos in the future.

    While I was there. Rose and Oud 4 oz. and Dragon’s Blood 4 oz. was recommended to me by a worker. I was hoping to sell a few not just 1 of the Rose and Oud. I smelled of both on the little paper stick. I wasn’t crazy about neither of them. My fault totally! Wished I had never bought them at all. I didn’t have a lot of time to look around and smell of certain ones. I had drive back home over an hour. Just wished I would have bought something else. New at candle making

    I would love it if you could make a video about the science behind IFRA. I really want to use Petrichor in CP soap, but IFRA says no. What is in Petrichor that makes it unsafe for bath soap? How do I blend soap-safe fragrances to try to replicate Petrichor without the nasty whatever-it-is if I don't know what that component is? What happens if I use it anyway for personal use? Is IFRA a CYA kind of thing to keep people with hypersensitive skin from hurting themselves, or is Petrichor actually dangerous in bath soap? A deep dive into IFRA might be a bit techy for some people, but it would help me a lot.

      Unless I completely missed it, which is possible, they said they would come out with a list for the video they posted on Feb 10. I never saw one. I buy so many of the fragrances that they try. It would be nice for a reference to look back on if you didn’t have a chance to write it down. I know I would buy even more. I would suggest pinning a comment on the videos so we can go back in and quickly reference them.

    Hello, so I'm a newbie to candle making. I prefer beeswax or maybe a blend. What would be a new home owner fragrance, since my cousin sells real-estate? Thanks😊

      Ooh there are some great options for that! I'd recommend White Tea, Himalayan Bamboo, Glacier Lily, Se Salt and Orchid, or Sea Minerals. If you wanted to check out the Fragrance Oil Finder on the site, there is a "spa" section and many of the scent there would work great for open houses!

    These are all great blend ideas! Thanks for doing this. Do you use a 50/50 blend?

    • @candlescience
      @candlescience  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Glad you enjoyed it! For these, we do about 50/50 blends and it's a great place to start. You can always adjust the percentage if you'd like one scent to be a bit stronger than other other or if one is too overpowering.

    When selling items with these fragrances, is it okay to use its original names or do we come up with our own names?

    • @candlescience
      @candlescience  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We develop and have copyright over the fragrances names, but they are for fragrance oils in that form only. If you want to use the fragrance oils to make finished goods like candles or soaps, you are welcome to use the same or similar names, but you'll likely want to check to make sure those names are either a) not already trademarked for finished goods and b) not already in the market under the same name.
