Super cute seeing u two doing a video together 🥰.... I'm pregnant like u but I got no energy to do anything candle related. I'm 29 weeks, and I think I stopped a few weeks after I found out. I need motivate myself again.
I've been using Midwest for 2 years and I can tell you that Honeydew + coconut cream will be better in the candle especially if you mix it with their mango + coconut milk. Also Erica, they have a resource page on their website with blending ideas that you HAVE to take a day to just go through and experiment with. Their oils are fantastic oils to blend.
It was so nice to meet Chris, what a sweetheart! I love this video with both of you because 2 opinions are even better! Congratulations Dada!❤ I loved your bread reaction! I looooove fresh baked bread! I was confused by Iced Vanilla Woods. I was REALLY hoping they would have included their new Fall FO’s. I’ve noted the FO’s I would like to try, so THANK YOU both very much! Much love to you both and your growing family!
Nice to meet you Chris I love watching Erica make candles I tried to make some myself but get confused with how much oil I use still got all my stuff might try again thanks to you 2❤❤❤❤❤❤
PS, it was incredibly fun to "hang out" and smell fragrances with ya! Can't wait to see what you make. I've definitely added a few fragrances to my "must try" list. Mad huge love to Kenna and Doug, they are the sweetest humans and are so supportive to small business owners. ❤
French Toast has one of the BEST hot throw of any fragrance I have ever used. Next day barely any cure time it was AMAZING. Blended with wax that one SINGS. I could give about 8 other recommendations from Midwest that weren't mentioned here. They are my favorite fragrance company.
You encouraged me to start my candle business and although it isn’t my main income maker I enjoy the process and love doing pop ups; something I never thought I’d do. Thanks for the inspiration and many blessing to you and your growing family 💛
I think Chris is gonna get hired to write all the fragrance oil descriptions. I'm cracking up at both of your descriptions though! They're so spot on! I think my favorite is "cutting through the Macy's to get somewhere in the mall". 😂 I had a scent that I once described as "walking in the back door of Mervyn's" and I had a friend tell me it snapped her back to her childhood. 😂
Hi Erica, I do not comment a lot, but I have been watching your TH-cam videos from your start. First, Congratulations to you and Chris on the new addition who will be soon to come. ❤ It is so amazing how full circle you have come with Chris and the candles. I remember in the beginning he so wanted nothing to do with being on camera or in your videos (for privacy reasons) LOL to being such an amazing partner in helping making the candles to assisting you in your videos. It is so beautiful to watch your business and relationship grow. Marriage and soon family! ♥️♥️ Congratulations on all of it! Loved listening to both sides of the initial fragrance thoughts. Thank you both. April
😂 your husbands description of the whipped coconut cake.. it made me laugh out loud because for some reason even though I had no fragrance oil or cake in front of me, I could smell what he was describing! 😂👍🏽
This video had me in tears 😂some of those fragrances seem amazing 🥰 when Chris said a men’s cologne and you said after a fire , that was it 🤣🤣 Thank you guys for this fragrance unboxing it was such a good time 🤣
I absolutely enjoyed watching this :) MWFC is one of my personal favorites, they are so awesome. I have tried and use quite a few of these and it makes me happy to see your reactions to them and picking up your opinions on a few I'm curious about trying in the future.
I can't believe I missed this video. I love Midwest!! I bought a huge haul of their fragrances because I'm still in the testing phase and I wanted to see what my coworkers gravitated more towards. Anyway, I got great feedback on an Iced Vanilla Woods by them. It smelled amazing, like a cologne.
Hi Erica! Loved the video. I had to share I live in Battle Creek, where Froot Loops are made and I have tried almost every company’s Fruit Loop oil and Midwest’s is the closest to what it smells like in town when Kellogg’s is making them, or Post is making Fruity Pebbles 😂
To do fragrance testing you should cut little paper strips and submerge them just a little bit on the fragance, then wave it on the air and smell it from there. You can also buy them, they are called blotter strips. Also have the room ventilated because after a couple smellings, the room will be saturated. Doing it from the cap isn't very representative of how it will feel in the candle, some fragrances are too strong undiluted.
Huge thank you to Midwest Fragrance Company for sending us all these oils to try out!!

I really enjoyed watching you both smell all the scents! I can only imagine the beautiful candles to be made.
Thank you Hope! ☺️
So fun! Would love a follow up on some melts especially the fruit loop comparison.
You encouraged me to start my candle business and although it isn’t my main income maker I enjoy the process and love doing pop ups; something I never thought I’d do. Thanks for the inspiration and many blessing to you and your growing family 💛

Aww thank you so much!! What a kind and thoughtful comment! ☺️❤️
I Just got the whipped coconut cake and my first impression was the same as yours, but, i do know im in love with it.
😂 your husbands description of the whipped coconut cake.. it made me laugh out loud because for some reason even though I had no fragrance oil or cake in front of me, I could smell what he was describing! 😂👍🏽
Really fun and cute with you two together. Really like both your takes on the scents! Great job! ❤️

Great video! Midwest has the best fragrances!
This was great! 😂 You two are a good team. Do more like this! Love the longer video too ❤

My grandfather used to wear the green polo cologne. He passed away 2 months ago.
I love Midwest. I make Vamilla Bliss in Coconut Apricot and it is a good seller
Love Midwest! I think they’re about half my line at this point and where I met one of my best maker friends (in their FB group)
So bum bum is a a craze here at the moment in Australia. It’s a dupe of a body cream called Brazilian Bum Bum Cream ❤️
Here too.
enjoyed the team work.
I love Midwest!!
Midwest is great!
They are my favorite company
Give us a follow up with the melts and candles you make!
You guys are the cutest! Love this video and getting a couple opinions. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Great to have you both, very sweet
How much fragrance % do you add to wax melts?
13%, but the wax we use can hold up to 18%. Most waxes hold up to 10% so make sure to go based on what your specific wax can hold
Hy Erika I will like to see what kid of wax did you used for your product.. thanks I will appreciate to have more information.
Oud is a divisive scent, I think. Some people love it, like me, and others react like they have been punched in the face. Great video!
Can color be removed from paraffin wax candle? What should I do? I want to remove color from a colored candle 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
What is your favorite supplier for a marshmallow campfire smores fragrance oil?
Did you make the breeeeaaaad? Candle yet? I’m curious
You are guys amazing
What is that stuff in a glass you smell is it to clear your nose from the other scent
Using coffee beans to reset your nostrils is a good idea lol I need to try that when I make wax melts.
They do it when you are trying a lot of perfume too.
I want to try the bread one and the library 😂

How long do you cure your wax melts for ?
Great job.
Does anyone know what a hallmark store smells like?
That was so weird 😂how he didn’t smell and then he just went up and got coffee beans
I know I was pregnant 30 years ago, anything sweet made me nauseated.
Luckily I haven’t felt too much nausea since the earlier part of my pregnancy!
Hi Erica Hi Chris Hi Baby
🥰
Dupe = duplicate
Oh my gosh!! Thank you! Hahaha makes total sense!
