PS, it was incredibly fun to "hang out" and smell fragrances with ya! Can't wait to see what you make. I've definitely added a few fragrances to my "must try" list. Mad huge love to Kenna and Doug, they are the sweetest humans and are so supportive to small business owners. ❤
French Toast has one of the BEST hot throw of any fragrance I have ever used. Next day barely any cure time it was AMAZING. Blended with wax that one SINGS. I could give about 8 other recommendations from Midwest that weren't mentioned here. They are my favorite fragrance company.
I've been using Midwest for 2 years and I can tell you that Honeydew + coconut cream will be better in the candle especially if you mix it with their mango + coconut milk. Also Erica, they have a resource page on their website with blending ideas that you HAVE to take a day to just go through and experiment with. Their oils are fantastic oils to blend.
You encouraged me to start my candle business and although it isn’t my main income maker I enjoy the process and love doing pop ups; something I never thought I’d do. Thanks for the inspiration and many blessing to you and your growing family 💛

😂 your husbands description of the whipped coconut cake.. it made me laugh out loud because for some reason even though I had no fragrance oil or cake in front of me, I could smell what he was describing! 😂👍🏽
I think Chris is gonna get hired to write all the fragrance oil descriptions. I'm cracking up at both of your descriptions though! They're so spot on! I think my favorite is "cutting through the Macy's to get somewhere in the mall". 😂 I had a scent that I once described as "walking in the back door of Mervyn's" and I had a friend tell me it snapped her back to her childhood. 😂

I remember in the beginning he so wanted nothing to do with being on camera or in your videos (for privacy reasons) LOL to being such an amazing partner in helping making the candles to assisting you in your videos. I Just got the whipped coconut cake and my first impression was the same as yours, but, i do know im in love with it.
I absolutely enjoyed watching this :) MWFC is one of my personal favorites, they are so awesome. I have tried and use quite a few of these and it makes me happy to see your reactions to them and picking up your opinions on a few I'm curious about trying in the future.

Hi Erica! Loved the video. I had to share I live in Battle Creek, where Froot Loops are made and I have tried almost every company’s Fruit Loop oil and Midwest’s is the closest to what it smells like in town when Kellogg’s is making them, or Post is making Fruity Pebbles 😂
I can't believe I missed this video. I love Midwest!! I bought a huge haul of their fragrances because I'm still in the testing phase and I wanted to see what my coworkers gravitated more towards.
Anyway, I got great feedback on an Iced Vanilla Woods by them. It smelled amazing, like a cologne.
Can you plz plz give us an update on the wax melt performance. I truly enjoy this duo 1st sniff.

Oud is a divisive scent, I think. Some people love it, like me, and others react like they have been punched in the face. Great video!

Using coffee beans to reset your nostrils is a good idea lol I need to try that when I make wax melts.
They do it when you are trying a lot of perfume too.

What is your favorite supplier for a marshmallow campfire smores fragrance oil?
To do fragrance testing you should cut little paper strips and submerge them just a little bit on the fragance, then wave it on the air and smell it from there. You can also buy them, they are called blotter strips. Also have the room ventilated because after a couple smellings, the room will be saturated. Doing it from the cap isn't very representative of how it will feel in the candle, some fragrances are too strong undiluted.

How much fragrance % do you add to wax melts?
13%, but the wax we use can hold up to 18%. Most waxes hold up to 10% so make sure to go based on what your specific wax can hold
How long do you cure your wax melts for ?

Does anyone know what a hallmark store smells like?
I know I was pregnant 30 years ago, anything sweet made me nauseated.
Luckily I haven’t felt too much nausea since the earlier part of my pregnancy!
