- Hello adventurer!
In 2022, while traveling through the beautiful country of Namibia, we also visited the caprivi-strip.
In this video we show you the amazing nationalpark: Nkasa Rupara National Park.
With an area of 320 km², the Nkasa Rupara National Park is one of the small game parks in Namibia. It's located in the southernmost section of the caprivi strip, below the Mudumu Nationalpark. The Nkasa Rupara National Park is the largest wetland in Namibia.
If you are looking for a real seclusion, these park is the right place for you. No fence and it be wild.
Visiting the Nkasa Rupara National Park is highly dependent on the seasons. While the park can be explored by 4x4 during the dry season, a tour is impossible during and after the rainy season. Around December to May then up 80 % of the area is flooded and the islands are inaccessible.

Beautiful
👍😊
Another amazing video! Such pristine wilderness! Thanks for showing the natural beauty and the wildlife of Africa!
Wow what a fantastic video 😍 I'm thrilled 💚💚💚
I'm going to be in Caprivi in May 24 at around the 15th and I want to go there after seeing this video.... but I think it's impossible in May, or what do you think?
Thanks a lot! We are pleased that you like our video. In May there is basically end of the rainy season. So this area could be possible or not.
It also depends on how much rain falls in the current rainy season. We are back in Namibia in March 2024. Then travel to the Kalahari, Kgalagadi and more.😉
@@JADISCOVERTHEWORLD Thanks for your reply.
@@macoooy Your welcome! Just check the weather and write to lodges. They can then provide better information on the respective conditions. Have a nice trip!
@@JADISCOVERTHEWORLD Well I can't hope for little rain, thinking of all the thirsty animals 😇 but I hope for a chance to drive there. Wow sounds great. Enjoy your trip then 👌🏻👍🏻
