Wow, here’s one you probably haven’t ran across in awhile! Offered for sale for the first time in many years is a survivor, 1968 Ford Mustang California Special in one of my favorite colors produced Lime Gold!! This Mustang CS was part of a California Promotion/Production series and really catches a lot of attention. The 302CI-4V, V8 Engine paired with the XP Type Automatic Transmission performs excellent and purrs down the road while having that classic sound you’ve been chasing after. With factory options including Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes , Tilt Wheel and even Factory Air Conditioning you’ll be crusing in comfort. While the Factory A/C is not working, everything shows to be there to function. Produced 3/27/1968, this Mustang has a lot to offer and is waiting for someone to take this car to the next level. The Lime Gold exterior shows very well but does have some imperfections which can be seen in the photos however this is not your typical rust bucket as seen in the underside photographs. Standing on a set of 14” Tires, the GT style wheel covers give this car a nice stance while the GT/CS striping and accents set this car off. Throughout the Ivy Gold interior once again you’ll find it to be in highly original condition. The overhead console, upgraded dash gauges, faux wood bezel and dash pad all show excellent as does the carpeting and headliner. Additionally, the engine bay has been nicely cared for an detailed showing excellent and still retaining the original tag on the rear of the engine and the signature blue paint setting it all off! As seen in the photos, the underside of this car is extremely solid and is in unrestored condition, however you’ll see that it has been gone over and freshened up with a newer exhaust system and more! Again, this car is just waiting to be taken to the next level or enjoyed as it is, it is a car that we received a lot of attention on and look forward to presenting it to you. Feel free to call or text Anthony at 724-388-4930 for more information or to set up an appointment. We also offer Face-time as a way to go around the vehicle with you before you purchase. Also, in case you are not already on our site, head over to www.autosportco.com to check out 25+ pictures of each car, some websites only allow a few pictures. This car is located at our Pittsburgh location 1341 Old Freeport Road, Pittsburgh PA 15238. Almost all vehicles are kept inside our indoor showroom!! We accept trades; can help with financing options, as well as your transportation needs!!

Nice car, but I wonder if it has had a repaint. The "California Special" logo on the driver side quarterpanel is not correct. The "Special" should be indented below the "California", not the other way around. The passenger side logo is correct.

Haven’t found any but you never know after all it is 50+ years old. I have pictures and video of a magnet all around the car and it stuck easily everywhere I put it. 😎

@Autosportco I had a friend who had one here in the Vancouver area. Year's ago. It was majorly rusty. I thought it would be a good restoration project but then apparently he crashed it. Not worth repairing at that point was an insurance wright off.
