Apple Bloom has found herself in quite the pickle! Or should I say Apple C:
But! After disbanding from Diamond Tiara and Scootaloo, Apple Bloom was left on The Farm. What a terrible place to be when a pony who's filled to the brim with Zap Apple Energy is on the loose thanks to Twilight's potion to keep Applejack up all day, everyday... FOREVER. That can certainly take a toll on such a poor horse. Maybe those Apple were, uhm... Too potent for one to handle... Oh my.

I love it that you included elements from the apple sleep experiment grimdark like Lyra and Bon Bon's limbs scattered for applebloom to see in terror and seeing how much Applejack become more obsessive and insane from the potion twilight gave to her. And I love the transition of Applejack becoming Appleeyes too (very creepy but cool at the same time)👀🍎

Of all the MLP grimdark mods out there, this one scares me the most. Are the other ones disturbing? Yep. This, however, is straight up stomach-chilling, pants-pissing, nightmare-inducing horror. And I truly appreciate that. What stands out about this is the fact that we never see our own character. It's first-person-just us against this sweet, honest pony who in canon and a decent bit of fanon has always been the hardworking mother figure and hero of Equestria that we know and love, turned into a horrific monster. It's up close too, so we can see even more clearly every trace of gore and insanity. It scares the hell out of me, and I deeply admire that.

It's where Twilight gives Applejack some potion to keep her working on the farm. She goes crazy and gets punished and Twilight basically leaves her behind and blames everything on her rather than blaming herself. It's such a ugh moment

Yeah I think the transition. Specifically the transformation could be better. The shovel just fades away. Alongside with Applejack after her eyes roll backwards.

Gosh, you still remember those songs, huh? I think they might make an appearance some time in the future. Equine Ruination was replaced by Malus though, so I can't be sure of the inclusion of that.

Overall, I love the mod, especially because it reminds me a little of An Apple Sleep Experiment, one of my favorite grimdark stories related to My Little Pony, for the first part of it ( Love it so much that I even made my own version of the story. Sadly, it didn't exist publicly and it was just improvised for Halloween in a private chat with a friend on Facebook. Back to the mod). However, I like the last part of the mod for the disturbing details on Applejack but not as much as the first part of the mod. Still, the mod is still impressive in terms of animation, details and a good music ( despite being a remix ).

Actually it's from a fanfic Magpie wrote.
It's quite long so let me summarize.
Basically Filthy Rich wanted all of the Jars of Jam as the apple family was in debt. Applejack and Big Mac worked hard, but Big Mac died from Heat Stroke and Applejack was so tired.
She asked Twilight to make a potion to keep her up for at least 24 hours. The potion worked too well, she could not sleep at all and when the effects were supposed to end, they didn't. So she worked despite being sleep deprived.
She gave 400 Jars of Jam to Filthy Rich, he still wanted every last Jar. Applejack being pissed off, bucked a tree so hard she broke her back legs in a blind rage as she saw the tree as Filthy Rich.
After being hospitalized, she wanted to murder Filthy Rich. She escapes the Hospital.
After Applejack's disappearance, people from Ponyville started disappearing, Lyra went to the forest to investigate, only to find Applejack looking Horrific, realized she walked into a slaughter Forest, she saw the corpse of Bon Bon, Applejack murders her thinking she's Filthy Rich or a spy for Rich.
Later, Apple bloom goes to the forest. They find Rainbow Dash and Twilight, they have the cure to Applejack's Insomnia caused by Twilight's Potion (Twilight never told anyone about it and blamed Applejack even though she was the one who made the potion in the first place.)
And here we are.
Apple Bloom has the cure and has to fight Applejack. (Rainbow Dash was injured severely to the Jaw, Twilight I'm not sure)
I read this from a website as the fanfic was deleted from the original website so I might be wrong on some parts.
But it's mostly correct I think. And that's how we got here
Applejack later gets arrested. In this AU Starlight Glimmer becomes the new element of honesty.
And Twilight puts all the blame on Applejack, even denying Applejack that she gave the potion, saying there was no potion.
Yeah Filthy Rich and Twilight are quite out of character in this AU.
Rich may be a jerk at times but is reasonable, Twilight wouldn't just throw her friend under the rug to hide the fact she was technically the cause of her insomnia because the potion didn't work correctly.
