Judo originally was mean't to be about speed of entry as well as throwing force power, It's a whole universe to be explored...

Is Brian Davis still with the Budokwai ? He was my sensei from 1969 - 1974 at nightschool class at Marion Thornton School, Clapham Common, and was Budokwai treasurer, I think, at that time.

Lol this makes me laugh, oh believe me I love this video! And I love Judo! been doing Judo and Jiu Jitsu for 5 years, and it's just that day 1, they teach me how to break fall, 5 years later to this day I don't exactly break fall whenever I've been thrown. This video made me realize, nobody really breaks fall, they just take it so relaxed lol

+Christopher Corral i think that learning the breakfalls dose help a lot .especialy going backwards and practising them toughens your bodie up. just think about being thrown hard once for a none judo bjj.ect man it would probly knock them out.that training looks very hardcore...respect

Oh I got respect for them, I mean like I said, they take throws so relaxed, when I'm thrown I fear it deep down haha. I mean 5 years later, and I still fear being thrown, it hurts haha. Maybe breaking fall helps, but it's better to just let it go haha. I will admit being thrown this long, fell out of my chair in class, and my classmates said I fell all gracefully haha XD they were like "It looked like u did it on purpose.

i fear the beginers more than the higher grades. i think being thrown is an important part of judo and its fun. lol

+therickoshae It's the biggest part of Judo, cus u get back up to fight again! Haha, really? not me, most beginners can never throw me. They're so much about power, they feel like they can't throw me.

@@walkingcorpse1224 Hope you're still practicing! The idea is to get thrown enough that you can take falls in your sleep, so falls like these look like a piece of cake!
