A few more I thought were wonderful that weren't included in this vid. "Moses is lost in the Sinai" "Flag on the moon, have I mentioned that?" And the hilarious mimicry from all three guys of Tor's painful, panting groans towards the end. "Haaagghh..hhhaaagh..oh, why CAN'T I GET A BAKED POTATO BEFORE 5 IN THIS TOWN?!"
"Feed sodapop to thirsty pigs." This movie actually gets to make some sense, when I think of the double deathscene of The Priest in "Gangs of New York" or the ingenious conspiracy in "Under Siege", not to mention the 4-5-6-7-8-9-10 movies about the End of the World made these here last 5 years. Just imagine to what extent they would suck, had it not been for their budget. I shudder to think.
"Flag on the moon - how did it get there?" may be more than a non sequitur - it may prove coleman francis was from the future. the movie was made in 1961 and the first possible time the american flag could have been on the moon - in the form of a smashed "impactor" spacecraft that presumably had a flag painted on it somewhere - was 1964 (maybe 1962, as a previous mission went kaflooey and may have smashed somewhere on the dark side). and the first actual non-smashy landing was not until 1966. and obviously the "flag on the moon" everyone thinks of is apollo 11 which happened in 1969 SO HOW DID COLEMAN KNOW!?!?!? now, he could have been referring to the first russian smash-landing in 1959 - again presumably there was a flag on the craft somewhere, but since the plot involves a runaway russian scientist that does not make sense. of course, it's a coleman francis film so nothing makes sense, but still i really doubt it. WE NEED THE TRUTH!
I don't know what's more random, the "flag on the moon"or the "nothing bothers some people, not even flying saucers" quote, the later feels like something a character written by David Lynch would say.
@auritone It was borne from a dream I had yesternight after watching some Danish academy awards. Ed Wood and Coleman Francis were the creators of modern cinema and all sorts of crappy actors and acting were highlighted as grand heirs to a magnificent tradition. And then I started thinking....
@perplacymp Although i agree with your other points, i must admit that Gangs of New York was an alright film all told. You cant beat Daniel Day Lewis as a murderous butcher/gang leader. And besides, it was Liam Neeson. The only way he COULD die is by dying twice. Other than that, im in your boat pal.
@screaminghellion I had anticipated a pro-Gang response but not one that made me see my error. Daniel Day Lewis and Liam Neeson are the kings of historical gangsters and I would like to see the Ripper or Dracula who'ld take them on. Hell, even Springheel-Jack might not cut the mustard. But my original comment is the kind of a diatripe you gotta expect from a inmate in the house of a 1000 Triers.
"Paper mister?"
"Why yes it is! Ha you're a bright boy!"
This movie stops at nothing. And stays there.
"Tor could have been contender, instead bum, which am" XD
"Bob had a goal" "And two assists!"
Too damn funny, especially with playoffs on right now
7:22 the purses family was notified immediately
Caught in the wheels of progress not even flying saucers bother you as you touch a button and things happen, like a flag on the moon.
Coleman Francis-he makes Ed Wood look like James Cameron!
Puerto Rico offers something for everyone...like flights out.
*scarecrow:* "Take that budget of yours, dad…"
*Crow:* "And shove it!"

Oh man, I just saw this movie raw. God it was painful.
"High on hill live lonely goatherd." LOL
This is probably the best episode of the Mike era and definitely up there in the top ten of best MST3K episodes period.
OH! And the Puerto Rico short, every little fanfare-break; "da-duhn da duhn-DAH! GAMBLING!"
1:38
Made me spit out my drink. XD
Love Tom Servo.
"Bob had a goal.......AND two assists!" LOL.

“It was a dark and boring night...”
One not featured here I liked was when Tor was carrying the dead woman around:
"Now carry over threshold! Da-da-daaaa, da-da-daaaaa...."
"Feed sodapop to thirsty pigs."

"Well, here's your problem; your dead!" ROFL
When I see cows I say "these are some moo cows" the way Crow does.
Take that budget of your's dad...
...and shove it.
"But then he crashed his car and died"
“Get off my land you credits”

Very very good
"Space 1969"
"You should kill us on sight!"
Flag on the Moon. How did it get there?
And I like trees. There's a puppet.
07:55 perfect riff.
*"Flag on the moon. How did it get there?"*
Tom Servo [Muffled voice]: Watch out for snakes.
If you remember Eegah MST3K, you know where this line is from.
5:23, If you have ever seen Shining Time Station, the resemblance is pretty scary

"Push a button, and things happen"
wait, Woolworth's was American?..huh...guess I learnt something new today :D
According to popular urban myth Stanley Kubrick put the flag on the moon....and be sure to worship at the breast of your choice 😉
Ask Christian Slater?
08:30 I never got this part. They found a dead couple, went up in a plane, and shot at some random guy? WHY?
Would this flick be considered Tor Johnson's "prestige piece"?
I must have been rreading an Alan More comic.
Wondering if I should delete it.

Wait, how does Springheel Jack enter into this?

But what about all the GOOD movies Tor Johnson made?
They don't exist. 😅
IMPs Immediate Murder Professionals?
LoL, Btw, Mst3k, Ftw.
