Is it possible to use the seperate battery (which is not in included) in the Free model or does it fit only for the Free H model?

Durability of the bands wirefunction could be of consern.
    And in heavy bad/cold weather?

      Hey Erik,
We weren't actively monitoring the comments back when you wrote it. Sorry for that and that the answer comes a year late :).
The durability shouldn't be any issue even in more demanding conditions. Our headlamps are made to be used like that. During the development process Trail Runner Free went through substantial tests especially in order to make sure that the integrated cables could withstand tough conditions.

How can you clean this headband? With water and soap?

Väldigt bra video. Ljudnivån är dock lite i lägsta laget, kanske testa ta mikrofonen lite närmre. Ser fram emot att testa era pannlampor

Menudo timo el tema de la autonomía… dais unas autonomías en las especificaciones técnicas que no se acercan a la realidad pero por muchísimo. VERGONZOSO.

And then the housing cracked open... !
    It's shit-design of the housing.
The lampunit is freefloating on the left side, so any twist and turn on the lampunit, that be when adjusting it on the run to adjust where you want the beam to aim or because its actually quite an uncomfortable headunit giving a pressurepoint in your forehead, because the padding is just a tiny piece of thin foam that also tilts the headunit to point to the left..., is putting a strain on the housing, making it break appart.
It's NOT designed to be stuffed down your running backpack on an ultrarun.
Considering the cost of this headtorch, I cannot recommend it.
And as normal for Silva and other headtorches, the light is really bad in any kind of fog or fine rain, where a more yellow lightcolour is needed, instead of the insanely blinding white lightcolour.
Now I have a very expensive, longlasting rear red light !

      Hey Erik,
Sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your Trail Runner Free. If your headlamp unit has been broken and are loose from the headband - we will of course help you out in accordance with our 2 year warranty. Please contact silvasales@silva.se and our Customer Service department will help you out. It speeds up the process if you can provide them with the batch number of your headlamp located between the plastic headlamp mount and the headband (e.g GGUA).
      Kind regards,
      Team Silva
