When I was a kid I was inspired by Hungry Shark Evolution and forgot about it for a while until recently, and now I'm getting my interest in sharks again I also have been interesting in marine biology from games like Subnautica when I was younger Great video, thanks for making!
Thank you again for everything you do. And especially, for making another long form video like THIS🙌🏽 And about sharks too?! Very cool👌🏽 Been watching you for years now. Still here and will never cease to enjoy your videos. Cheers!
Here are some easy things you can do to help sharks, today! 1. Do Not Use Shark Products - Obviously a great place to start is by not consuming any shark meat. However, shark cartilage and oil is also found in a range of products from beauty items to health nutrition. So before consuming any product, make sure it does not use any shark materials. 2. Reduce Your Seafood Consumption - Commercial fishing negatively impacts sharks by reducing their food sources and sharks are often killed as a byproduct of commercial fishing. 3. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - A big threat to sharks is trash. Sharks often mistake garbage for food often leading to illness and death. So please consider your impact on marine life when using and throwing away products. 4. Spread Awareness - Share this post, research more ways to get involved, and teach anyone you know why sharks are so important and how we can help save them!
Fish were traditionally just a single class (Pisces) or three classes (Cyclostomata (Jawless Fish), Chondrichthyes (Cartilaginous Fish), and Osteichthyes (Bony Fish)), however recent evidence now states that they are redivided into six living classes (Myxini (Hagfish), Petromyzontida (Lampreys), Holocephali (Chimaeras), Elasmobranchii (Sharks and Batoids), Actinopterygii (Ray-Finned Fish), and Sarcopterygii (Lobe-Finned Fish)), therefore making Cyclostomata, Chondrichthyes, and Osteichthyes all paraphyletic.
Lots of information here. Man, the more I learn about shark the more I think how well-adapted they are to their environment. They're also pretty. Yeah, hear me out. They have some sort of simplicity in their aesthetics that I vibe with. tl;dr : sharks are really cool
