Hi Annette, Believe it or not when things are organized you get to know where everything is. The trick is to go through it often ;) Thanks for stopping by
Yes I have had mine for many years. I used to have the scanner. I have tons of cartridges but I haven't used it to embroidery in a long time. It is a great sewing machine. Your room is great!
The Woman Cave does exists!! I could care less about crafts, but I LOVE watching you ladies do your room tours. I think any room that is dedicated to someone's passion tends to grab my attention. Happy crafting :)
Jen Unger I don't know what it is because I could care less about crafts, but I love watching you ladies show your craft rooms lol I guess I'm a big music lover and my music room is pretty crazy (if you have seen any of my videos you will know what I mean lol). I think it's just seeing someone design a room around their passion just gets me fired up.
Thanks and yes it is a bit crowded, ideally I'd like double the space because I'm trying to do too many things in one room but I need to be happy with what I have and feel fortunate to have this place to call mine. TFW
Hi, the drawers are from Michaels. Recollection cubes. You buy them un-assembled and they can stack on top of each other. They also come in various configurations to suit whatever you need. I love them. On the other side of the room I have ones that hold all my dies.
Your room is perfect. I LOVE those chairs ! I am a mostly standing scrapper and need a high chair for those times I like to rest a bit. They look perfect and classy and comfy. Please tell me where you found them??????
Hi, All the answers to your questions I posted in the description box. Everyone asks where I got the chairs so I posted it in the description, lol. Thanks for your lovely comments and thanks for watching:)
There are a few more cartridges I would like to get but the machine is fairly old to today's standards so I keep my eyes peeled on ebay. My husband still wants the scanner. I just don't know how much it would get used :) TFW
Hi thanks for watching. The system around my sewing machine is really just a bunch of Recollection cubes from Michael's I then went to Home Depot and got them to cut me a couple of shelves from a full sheet of malimine. The leftovers became the shelf above and the side unit with all the little shelves was given to me from a guy that worked on our house. He had pulled it from a different job. It was going to be thrown away.
I love the storage system around your sewing machine. Did you purchase that at a store? If so, what store did you purchase the system at and what is the brand name of the system?
Hi Jen I just watched Part 1 & about to watch Part 2. I love your space, I just did a "makeover" on my craft room with Recollections Cubes as well I agree they are great. I noticed while watching that you have the "almost squeal" sound from some of your drawers (sorry to point that out no offense intended) but that being said, a quick tip to make that stop, just rub with plain candle wax. I used a broken taper candle (white is best colors can stain) on the bottom edges of the drawers, no more squeal when opening or closing the drawers. Again, very nice room.
Hi Jenn, Your room is beautiful. Where did you find the plush chairs that are pushed into your work table? I've been looking for comfortable chairs and yours look nice. Also what height is your work table? Thank you for your videos.
I made them out of cardboard although it's time to make new ones, I was thinking maybe I would do foam core board this time. Maybe I'll do a video. Thanks for watching and your nice comments :)
the drawers that you have your fabric packs and fat quaters in under your sewing area where did you get this unit? I am looking for drawers that size and I can't find them.
I made the desk out of two sheets of malimine and some malimine shelving from home depot. I got them to cut the boards in the store into two pieces, two are screwed together for the top with trim glued around it and the other pieces are for the legs with the shelving, maybe I'll do a video.
I believe London Drugs is a Canadian franchise. Thanks for watching. They are very comfortable. The only downside is that the faux leather that they are made of isn't great quality and the chair I usually sit in is faded and has tears in it.
I was hoping you would tell us where you got the storage units and how you put it all together...please what are the store you got them from and what are they called and how you did it.
Hi Katherine, Thanks for watching my video. Most of the drawer units were bought at Michaels, they have an assortment of different configurations to suit whatever need you have. canada.michaels.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-MichaelsCanada-Site/en_CA/Search-Show?cgid=809188648 The rest are plastic drawer units from walmart Clip it Up www.scrapbook.com/store/si-01-034.html Hope that helps :)
hello! I adore your craft room and just wanted to ask you something! So i have recently really got into crafting and i have started to sell some things on etsy. I have not yet sold any cards because i don't know how i should send them to the buyer? Do i put them in their normal envelopes and then put a bigger envelope around it or what do you do? If you could please get back to me that would be great!
amelie filby Hi Amelie, I usually put the card and envelope in clear cellophane bags and then into a larger shipping envelope. Think about how you would like to receive your item if you were the customer. The more professional your items look the more likely to have a return buyer
Hi Patricia, Unfortunately the company has gone out of business and no longer sell them. You might be able to find them on eBay or a scrapbook buy and sell Facebook site.
Very nicely organized, I like how the ribbon is stored an 6x6 papers. Great ideas! Thanks, Karol
This is a scrapbooking room worth remembering. Nice, organized, clean, and space to work. Kiki
There is hope for all my sewing things. Wahoo.
Thanks so much for sharing this. I just finished painting and am starting to put everything away.
Amazing how you know where everything is stored given the amount of items you have.
A craters dream room.

Thanks for watching:) I have a box of paraffin wax for such things as squeaky drawers, just haven't gotten to it yet, lol. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Judy, thanks for watching. The chairs are from London Drugs and I believe the work table is 37" high.
Hi Jenn,

Hi Monique, Thanks for watching. The room is 13'x15'.
I'm loving your swivel stools. They look very comfortable. Are they a national brand?
