I've learned that doing pages that intimidate you can be a huge learning experience! Kerby pages used to seriously intimidate me (as well as a lot of double page spreads in general) and I've learned so much about breaking pages down, looking at the smaller details before the bigger picture and also color pallette and selection so much from those and sometimes less is more. I adore doing those kind of images now because of the learning experience. I think it's great that you want to do the pages that intimidate you, so do them! Doing challenging and sometimes scary things is what makes us grow :)
I'm the same have books that I love so much and don't want to ruin them. I really appreciate you doing this video as it made me feel a bit better about my own book stash thanks for sharing ❤
I love hearing you say, I want to do the pictures that intimidate you. Too funny. I wish my pages looked half as good as yours. Your work is always gorgeous. The Korean 3 I have, but haven’t started 2 of them, scary, but so so beautiful. Tysmfs ❤❤
I have every book you showed, except the two by Petra and I have not colored in any of them either. I don’t think I ever will. They’re just too beautiful. So I guess you can say I’m obsessed with beautiful coloring books.
I would love to get my hands on that serene book! I don't color faces and I know I wouldn't color on it for a long time just from fear of messing it up but, wow it is gorgeous!!! Can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something I'm not going to use.
I have my Aeppole( Korean book and I probably spelled it wrong) is a work of art.Im afraid to use it. My Korean books always come shrink wrapped and wrapped in plastic with a bubble mailer.
Oh my, I have had all of these books, I gave away Serene and Fantasia to the very talented Emily, and sold the Momo Girls books. As for the rest , I am intimidated by them and only one completed page in each. Thanks for this fun video!
I have several of those books. The purple Momo (?) I have colored 1 pic in. I've colored 5 in Fantasia and am happy with 3 of those. The gypsy fortune teller is my most ambitious one because I worked hard to make her orb the light source and I was very pleased with the results. I have the first Forest Girl but haven't colored I'm it yet. I watched an Idrani video today of one the pics and she inspired me a lot! She used watercolors and Derwent colorfasts. Other books that I'm still intimidated by are The Ink House and Darya Song's Time Chamber and Night Voyage. Someday. Sigh.
I have dreamed of owning the spiral bound book but where I live I can’t afford to buy or justify the price as it is almost well last time I looked $60-80 Australian

Kori, I feel like your coloring is perfect !
I have never felt that way about a book. I have just got my favourite artist in ever and I had to colour in it straight away xx
We are all different nothing wrong with that
Momogirl and Nick Filbert are my favorite artists. I got 2 of each so I can be brave to color in :)
Yeah I need to scan and try tackling one soon
I have these book and I share same opinion. I like arts ❤

It is hard to color in these books!

Can you paint on the Nina cardstock?
Yes, but not a lot of water
Thank you. Good video and artists I'm not familiar with. How can you scan a page and not ruin the book?
I use my phone to scan it. There are tons of apps now
You need to color in Serene! And just call him Nick Filbert! 🤣🤣 I’ll buddy with you! 🤣🤣
Haha I know I need to.
