This is a beautifully designed pedal with so much to dial in! I can tell this is going to be one of those that I'll play with for several hours when I first get it haha! Thanks for the demo!
Awesome demo! I had my eye on the Untiefe, but I just picked up a tides v2 from holy island so I don’t think I can justify a fourth reverb pedal lol. You inspired me to run my Mini clone after it though! Forgot the mini can shoegaze :)
Brother…your playing is so freaking inspiring. Pedal is dope too, one of the more interesting and ear catching verbs i’ve heard in a while. Really wish it was stereo but still a beautifully sounding pedal.
Thanks! It would def sound rad in stereo but honestly I didn't even think about that until now, the sounds are already fantastic and I don't feel too strongly about whether most reverbs are mono or stereo
@ambienttrash5234 I agree! The main reason I wish that is because my rig is already set up for stereo and some of the movement that pedal has could be even better if it was stereo imo. I agree though the sounds are fantastic and unique. I've listened to this vid like 5x already lol. Prob one of my fav pedals you've demo'd!
As always, amazing demo, phenomenal playing. Quick question: how does the ramp feature on the Untiefe compare with OBNE's Dark Star when it comes to freezes? Are they one-for-one the same or are there any differences in their functionality?
Thank you. Never played a Dark Star but the Untiefe ramp switch just momentarily maxes out whichever control you've set it to, so I imagine it's about the same idea 🤷🏻♂
Okay so, I WAS planning on ordering the Immerse mk2 this pay check, I’ve been saving. However, the ramp button on this pedal is far too expressive for me to pass up on easily. I don’t have a stereo set up, yet, but I am thinking of starting to save up for a stereo amp (probs the Roland JC 40). Can anyone offer any insights? I honestly think that I’d get more music out of this pedal, but I’ve been set on an immerse mk2 for so long now that I’ve got some serious decision paralysis. Please help.
The Untiefe is a mono reverb, but either way I don't think a stereo combo amp would make a ton of difference unless you plan to mic it or go direct in stereo (speakers in stereo right next to each other just don't feel the same as speakers physically spread apart). That said, never played an Immerse myself but I know it's a longtime favorite of many. I don't think you can go wrong in either case but they're fairly different pedals. As with any case of option paralysis, I'd say just go with your gut and pick the one that you think best serves you now-you can always check out the other later :)
Absolutely insane opening track, every demo sounds better than the last. Much love

Great pedal and great playing, as usual!
