The 100 nights ceremony is associated with end of the mourning period . Some wear black till the end of the mourning period . In some provinces a ban is put on fishing grounds till the end of mourning especially if the person who passed away is a high chief . Thanks for showing this aspect of our culture Uraia.

For me, 100 nights is more than just an end of the mourning period but also to catch up with relatives I haven't seen in awhile in addition to the food but not so much the grog. 😅
