It amazing how similar life in your city is compared with a city in my old country (Mexico) of course no explosions, but the churches (Catholic in Mexico vs. Orthodox in Ukraine) you outdoor markets, your people walking the streets, even your beggars outside the church. Nothing of the sort here in Utah, USA. But your country and Mexico? Wow! Thanks for letting us (me and other people) see real life in Ukraine👍👍👍.

It's cold there and life looks tough. I send you good wishes . This all seems unreal. I wonder if one of the missiles will hit the church. Andriy Uminskiy is a priest worked for many years with children and adults hospice, the homeless and addicts . He wouldn't say a prayer seeking success to Russia with the war. Kirill wants him thrown out of the church. The Holy Synod has not considered or approved the prayer. May Ukraine be safe soon. Bless 🙏 you all

It's a good idea, to buy food when it is on special, and then buy it in bulk.

I cross country skied over the ice of the Georgian Bay in Sunny +10C, only wearing a T-shirt. Our Eskimos up North have 229 different names for snow conditions. Yes, I fell through the ice a few times myself. Not a nice feeling.
But nothing that a Grog (Tea with Rum) could not cure.
Once I had to rescue my dog .

Brigitte L Jones. You are right that your food prices have gone up a lot. At last to be nearly as high as other countries in the EU and nearly the same as here in Australia. All of our prices have been going up too. I was also watching a vlogger Johnny FD who was in Ukraine till recently when your prices were a lot lower. Ukraine must have been subsidising their food costs for keeping the people happier until they are not getting as much money from the the US and EU with any certainty. Because Ukrainian pensions are lower it would be getting hard on the old folk.
Yes, our prices were a pleasant bonus for all foreigners. But for people who live here they seem unreasonable. Everything depends on income.
