Great vlog as usual. Arran is now on the to do list thanks to you. Great talking to you both at the NEC. We folks from the north east are so friendly and it’s great that you’re highlighting the area. I love soda bread but you’re right, it’s like a brick 😜. X
My Daughter lives 15mins from Ardrossan ferry terminal to Arran and until recently worked there over the summer months (No guessing for which posh hotel it was?) I loved visiting her in Arran but have recently bought a VW T6 Campervan, and will definitely be giving Arran a visit or two in the not to distant future. Great to see the sights through your eyes, thanks and good luck with the weather. Trevor
Great video as always. Love the banter between the two of you! 😂 The one part of your videos i always enjoy are the scenery shots with the instrumental music, it must take a while to pick the right mood of music for the shot.
I was wondering if you were still planning the move? Really enjoyed the film and definitely moved it up our visit list. Outer Hebrides first though so your guide will be spot on. Got the e-book version but will grab the print as well at some point. Look forward to hearing how you get on with the winter weather up there!
So want to and yes I would get your guides so keep producing them and we will . Another camper van channel I have seen stated that Scottish people hate camper vans , this sounded to me like maybe the visitor was maybe not abiding by rules or had done something wrong . So can you tell me how campers are perceived. Just wondered really as their country is exquisite and when it comes to nature and other peoples property we are so very respectful . Obviously though not everyone is ( don’t mean yourself) . 👍
It’s a bit mixed sometimes. But generally if your respectful etc we’ve never had any issues with anyone being anything less than friendly. It’s important to help the economies of the places that you visit in Scotland though by shopping there etc otherwise we can be seen as a cost rather than anything else. We try to eat out occasionally, but food etc locally where possible and generally have a good chat with people. They are always nice with that approach we find.
@ChrisSloanes Thank you so much for the speedy delivery of your books. I look forward to looking through them and getting a start on planning our trip 😀
@lisac0927 we try to get them out asap for everyone. Seems like we caught the postal times perfect for this lot as a lot of people have contacted us to say they arrived already. Enjoy them!
Aye, mint video again. I appreciate the work that goes into making these vids having a channel myself and punching my PC every 7 seconds trying to edit stuff, I’m nee Spielberg put it that way. Always a great watch yours like. a propa telly programme. Mint. Keep it up and thanks for sharing 👍👍 That soup your lass made looked like she had been baggin up dog honk. Bah.
😂😂😂 got me creased with that one. It tasted lush luckily haha. Aye it’s a pain ain’t it. 3 hours of footage to cut down into this haha. Thanks for the comment bud
@@ChrisSloanes just ordered at DJI mini 2 ready for the away trips from the spring onwards. Had a nightmare man. Bought one off Temu originally just thinking I need something cheap as it’ll be dragged about over rocks and cliffs and all that and it’ll get damaged easy so thought £29.99 was about right 😂🤷♂️🥴Took 11 weeks to get here from some tent with poles missing in the middle of nowehere, I put some double A’s In it, took it onto the side garden, took off and never seen it again. Popped the controller into the bin on the way back into the house and told wor lass I didn’t realise it was a no fly zone with being on the flight path to Newcastle so it’ll of been shot down. She spent the night curtain twitching all night for the polis turning up. Told her on day 3 that they only have 72 hours to prosecute so we’re off the hook!!
😂😂😂 the more expensive ones are a piece of cake to fly and will fly themselves. See about getting a second hand dji mini or air. They both great. I use the mini 3 pro and love it. Hopefully your not about with it next time I’m off abroad 😂
Loved this weeks guys. Question what handheld camera are you using inside the van and when you got to the first park up? It seems to be really stable and ‘follows’ really well with a good wide view. Just what we’re looking for?
It’s the new dji Osmo pocket 3. Our first time using it and we were very impressed. Easy to use and tiny. Much easier than the huge camera setup I normally take.
@@ChrisSloanes It looks great. Love how it switches and gives such a wide field even when it’s so close and without fish eye. Did you have the dji wireless mic on it in all the footage?
Those mineral deposits in your kettle... Probably from the minerals in your mineral water. You should filter the minerals out of your mineral water first. Or, just use those bottles of cheap, non-mineral, filtered tap water that you get in the supermarket. They'll have fewer, er, minerals in them. That won't turn into white sh*t. 🤷♂️😀😉 Oh, and Arran's lovely!
Just started watching your videos absolutely mint mate but there’s only a problem for us we use a tourer are your books ok for us 😂😂owld gaggies from blyth who are doing Skye harris Lewis in 3 weeks time . Cheers guy Lynne
