Thank you so much! yes same here, its like a new relationship with the deck after modifying it. one of my favorite mods is my Tarot of the Cat People, I've had it for 20 years and never used it because of the white borders but once I cut them off I fell in love again... remember that song "if you like pina coladas..." fell in love with an old tarot boyfriend, haha.... :)
Sorry to hear you’ve been ill, i hope you keep feeling better. 💖 Maybe with the DruidCraft you could shuffle half the deck at a time...cut them together...halve them again.... 🤔

Ooh, I love a lot of them, especially the look of the Linestrider with the silver back. And I can't not comment on the beautiful, soft kitty feet. Squee! I love that he/she joined you in the video! (Kitty person here!) But I know what you mean about the decks becoming as thick as bricks & difficult to manage. @@layercakearts I'm not on FB but I could do an updated version of my modified decks. Sadly, our cat Joe passed away two weeks ago..he was such a law unto to himself...did what he wanted..slept everywhere...even on the kitchen counter.

Oh, it is so good to hear from you again. I re- backed my Tarot of Transformation (because of the horrible card stock) with a contact paper that was beautiful but quite expensive. All told it cost $50 for the contact paper. The paper shrank on the backs after a few months and made the deck really sticky. So the deck is unusable ☹️ Since that disaster I decided to leave my decks the way they came.
oh no, that sounds horrible! oh I'd be crushed, I don't know about you but I really love Tarot of Transformation, it got me thru a few bad years, very supportive. yeah it kills me when I spend money on top of the cost of a deck, yikes. I feel like I might be crossing out my deck modification phase, I've been leaving mine alone too. always good to connect with you ! :)

I am so sorry that you have not been well. Sounds like you have been through quite a challenging journey. Glad to see you up and strong enough to post videos again.... You have peaked my curiosity in regard to backing certain decks that have really thin card stock. You have not had issues with the contact paper peeling eventually? Also, the decks I would use it on have already been trimmed of their boarders. Is it too late for them ? Would be concerned, again, about peeling. Ive had good success with clear contact paper not peeling on any of my decks except one, Tarot of Transformation and I think it was because it was very glossy, it didn't stick well at all. So I peeled it off all 78 cards (ugh) and put silver contact paper on and its rock solid. No never too late for trimmed decks, same process. And with clear contact paper you have nothing to lose because it can be removed if your don't like with. Thank you again for your kind words. :)
I've never modified a deck, but the last deck I vote for CLEAR so that Tarot Everywhere isn't lost. i'm so happy to see you back.
