    Just got mine, I love it. This is my first competition bell, I normally use hard-style bells. I like my hard style bells, but space is my issue. I have a crazy small studio apartment. 99% of the time I’m working out at my gym, or in the park. This adjustable bell is way easier to keep in my trunk, in lieu of 3 or 4 other bells like I used to do. If I did it all again, I’d buy just this and be set for probably years.

    I have 2 of the kettlebell king adjustable. They work great, the weight distribution doesn’t feel any different from a “normal” competition bell. Not really met for adjustments between sets. They allow for nice incremental increases in weight, huge savings compared to buying multiple bells to achieve the same incremental increases. Completely happy with my purchase.

      Keith, thank you for making that post as you have answered what I really wanted to know about these kettlebells - did the weight distribution feel different? I have been debating about buying one of these for some time; I now feel more confident in doing so. Many thanks.

    I use pipe couplers, I get the parts at Home Depot in the plumbing area, I got several and my neighbor cut those in haft, they are perfect to place between the weights inside the adjustable bell. Too both distribute the weights so they are balanced, but also serve to silent any rattling noise from the weights inside. The Kettlebellking adjustable competition bells were my best purchase at any price. I now have 18 kb in each bell and will toss a another weight in both bells in few months. This has been life changing for me. Truly!

    I have a couple of them (not kk brand) and I love them. The only "problem" is that if you want a specific weight you have to pay attention to the order of plate placement, otherwise they will rattle a bit due to the different sizes. And as others as said before the time spent on changing weight is good for focusing on the next exercise

    I bought one, then Dremeled (light grinder) the extra material off the handle base. It simply there due to the casting method and removing the material doesn’t affect the integrity or weight at all. Took me 5 minutes. I also plasti dip my KBs after purchase. Simple thing to do . Get the product from Home depot, pour into a bucket, then simply dip your KBs ( or DBs ) into it and let dry. Provides a thin rubber coating that peels off if you want to remove it. Comes in different colors as well. I even did my olympic plates. BTW, bad place to set your Mantra beads! 🤣😎🤙

      @@kettlebellmusclegain bowflex, klarfit and powerblock worth to mention. But on second thought those KK of yours are much better, because shape is still like not-adjustable one (which can cause pain in other ones) and the main thing is that they have slow but strudy mechanism to lock the weight. In example klarfit have plastic bolt.. which suppose to hold depends on model up to 24kg in dynamic moves. When someone is training few times a week i think that will break sooner or leater.

    I have the kk adjustable and titan fitness both good but both could be improved. My annoyance with each of them is that there's some weight settings where it rattles and there's no real fix. The kk version for example can't make a 17kg bell without the plates rattling. Titan fitness can't make 18kg without rattling. Kinda sucks when they say that you can adjust in 1kg increments.

    • @BigHat83
      @BigHat83 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I found a fix for that. The bells come with two nuts inside for the threaded bar.
      Move the first but closer to the bottom of the bell, but only as far down as needed to make the weights not touch the sides of the bell. Then add the plates you need.
      Here's the final part that keeps everything in place. Buy a 1 inch lock washer place it between the plates and the second nut. Tighten down, and the tension from the lock washer holds everything in place.
      The simple addition of a lock washer is a game changer for these bells...
