Hey everyone! This video is a roundup of the best story-driven games I could think of at the time I made this list. I realize some games might pop up frequently on the channel, and I'm sorry if it feels a bit repetitive. I'll try to keep things fresh and avoid mentioning games that have already been covered in previous videos. That said, I sometimes miss out on including certain games, and then I hear, "How could you forget this one?" Remember, not everyone has seen all the older videos, and many viewers are new to the channel. So, bear with me as I balance this out. Thanks for sticking around, and I promise to keep improving!

It's funny how you can tell the approximate age of an uploader, based on the choices they make for a video that is a list of something. In this case, it's easy to tell, the person who made this video, is around 25-30 years old at most.
The Witcher three is my favorite game of all time!!!! I have both versions on the PS4 Pro ! I have both versions on the Xbox one X!! And now I'm playing the PS5 version! It is simply put, a masterpiece to which other have been able to compare in my opinion!!! That opinion includes how good the gameplay is, how immersive the world is how good the graphics are, how great the music is, does it have a mini game? Is the mini game that is within the game any fun? YES!!!! Every bit of this game stands neck and shoulders above the rest !!!! I wish I could go back and experience it again for the first time and it is the first one in the series that I got to play and I did not even like it when I first got it in 2015-2016... it wasn't until I had a second and then maybe even a third chance that I finally got into it the right way and it finally clicked!! I have not been able to stop playing it since, and I have played it every year since it came out!!!! The best console version is the Xbox one X version, which, if they built upon that, then the series X version is probably the best now? I like how they fixed the glitchy music in the PS five version remaster, however, there are so many things that are still broken in that damn game... ranging from all of a sudden won't get on all of a sudden he won't get off the horse till all of a sudden you can't get him to die to all of a sudden he's underneath the water swimming, but the game thinks he's not dived?!?!?!? It's a mess It's still a wonderful game either way! Because of it, I have also beat the Witcher two on my Xbox one X!!
Dragon Age Origins, any of the Elder Scrolls, BG2 (or 3, if you have to keep it modern I guess), Mass Effect 2, Divinity Original Sin 2, Fallout: NV... a lot of golden ones are always going to be left out of any list.
Hellblade senua's sacrifice is an amazing game. In the beginning, we might be a little confused of what's happening, but as the story progresses, god!, we automatically connect with senua's character. For me, Hellblade and Attack on Titan are similar. They both convey a beautiful message of "letting go"
What remains of Edith Finch & Life is Strange are two of the absolute best & most heartfelt games I have ever played!!! Both the first two Life is Strange games!! Before the Storm, the prequel & the first one are amazing and I am playing both right now in the Remastered PS4 Collection!

But your list is very good list !!!! Some one need to make a complete list 2000-2024 it will be maybe 200 games good luck :)
Yea becasue in marketing they just show this game as escort game with hiding in be bushes. This game is entirely not like that game got weapons and super powers as well
The ai of the last one is HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING...all you have to do is RUN and once you enter a door...the entire army that was running behind you ... stops...nothing....
Yeah man, busy playing the first Max Payne game now, for the first time. Having so much fun, missed it the first time round for whatever reason but now that the remake is being done I figured that its about time I finally got to playing the originals. Great list by the way.
I see so many people talk about Kena but i feel like its still so underrated! It was my first ps5 game and it was a beautiful game and a beautiful story!
i really really like the list .. but one could say there was one cardinal sin at least ... Psychonauts really deserve it ( also , will drop you a little hidden gem called Signifier )
Banisters combat is extremely fun and only opens up the more you invest in skills that pair with gear. I was able to make a few different builds that were visually pleasing and satisfying to pull off. Don’t sleep on Banishers if you’re afraid that combat is limited because it 100% isn’t.
It's not badass judging by the level of the game. It could have been much better. I have played the entire game. Banishers is lacking in a lot of ways. It just turned out to be a mediocre Third Person Game.
You missed a lot of them from the golden age of gaming. Alan Wake 1, Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, SOMA, Half Life series, Deus Ex 1, Amensia the dark descend
I would mention S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Vanishing of the Ethan Carter, Hitman, Far Cry, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Alpha Protocol, Deus Ex & Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Awesome list bro. I played most of the games on this list. Unfortunately, I couldn't play those games that are currently restricted in my region. I waited for the release of Ghost of Tsushima for almost 2 months, 3 days before its release it was restricted in my country. I only own a PC/gaming laptop and couldn't afford a PS5.
Assassin's Creed actually at first was planned as a new PoP game called: Prince of Persia: Assassin. But during development they made it into standalone franchise. And also managed to fck it up.
1. Prince of Persia Sands of Time 2. Prince of Persia Warrior within. 3. Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands (as per story) 4. Prince of Persia Two Thrones. 5. Prince of Persia 2008
You can also start with warrior within and two thrones. Those 2 are the best and more improved. There is no chronological order. So, make sure to have your first game from the series full of immersive experience
